Really great little diner. Kind of a hole in the wall but great food. Fun place to eat
Anne Marie's is a hidden gem! Everything they make is fresh and has that authentic home cooked flavour & texture. I haven't tried everything on the menu, but I have sampled quite a lot of it and have not yet been disappointed. Currently I'm on an omelet kick. They are soooo goood!!! As another reviewer also mentioned, I too appreciate the tomato substitute for spuds. The thing I like best about... more
Everything my husband and I have tried has been delicious. Service is fast and the coffee is amazing. What more could you ask for??
Horrible service runny and thin hollandaise sauce. I got food poisoning from the eggs benny I have been throwing up all day. Never going back
Nice ambiance. A little noisy but it's alright and expected. Good food. Good coffee. Great food takes time so no rush. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with poutine. Beautifully soft bun, crispy bacon, melted cheese and flavorful burger. The poutine was delicious with green onions and the gravy so nicely seasoned. Too bad I don't like pickles cuz it came with a huge pickle spear. The staff are... more
Great tasty diner food. Excellent milkshakes, orings, soup and burgers. I come here often and eat anything off the menu !! Great friendly staff wonderful smiles for sure. Thanks ladies!
this place is pretty good, though not the best. The coffee does the job, but it doesn't quite hit the spot (it's a little weak for me and my people). The food was good, though it took forever to get out to us. The fact that they offer free WiFi is a huge plus for travelers so we can hop on and connect with those back home. Parking was easy, there is a lot in the back and street parking to the... more
Great '50's diner ambience. Came here for the all day breakfast and we weren't disappointed. Omelette was fluffy and they had no trouble substituting the hash browns and toast for tomatoes. The perogies were just the way my wife likes them.
We will definitely be back.
Always a great experience! Good food, good service and friendly people. The menu is full of variety and reasonably priced. Abbotsford's hidden treasure!
I went here for breakfast with my 12 year old son. It was a nice experience for sure. The decor is very cool and the service was good. The food however was just average.
I ordered the BC Benny with pan fried potatoes. The eggs were cooked very nicely, but the light yellow yolk and bland flavour tells me that they obviously are not using a high quality, free range egg. The prices are not...

My husband and I are regulars at this small 50s style diner serving breakfast and lunch 7 days per week in old downtown Abbotsford. Service is always top notch. The food is not fancy, but well prepared favourites using fresh ingredients. The steady clientèle is a testament to the café's popularity. Occasionally there are short waits; however, you can make... more
Super friendly service from Ann Marie and her daughter. The classic eggs benny was amazing! Also loved the 50's/60's vibe. Thanks!
Had breakfast here on 2 consecutive weekends in July. Given all the good reviews I guess I was expecting more, Food was Ok but nothing special - found the booth seating somewhat uncomfortable - tables were better - service was great - but food and coffee were very much average - may try again but prices are a little high... more
I visit here often because it's close to my house and the owner knows me and my parents well by now and we love going here! The staff is always super friendly and quick (I've never had so many coffee refills lol). The food is always tasty and if anything's wrong, they're quick to fix it. Always fun to listen... more
We often go here when we want good home-style diner food. Everything's great, and tastes like it should but better than we can make it. Very clean and convenient. Service is friendly, and the decor is charming.
Had a delicious breakfast here - good variety of options available on the menu, with everything we ordered cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend the Eggs Benedict, really delicious! Staff very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is nice and informal.
Overall a great place to eat breakfast, and very good value for money. Would highly recommend - a hearty...

We stopped by for breakfast and found it disappointing, a surprise considering all the positive reviews on TripAdvisor.
My eggs were cooked too hard, the cubed potatoes accompanying were unpeeled russet with really thick peels. I really dont prefer this. It wouldn't have been the end of the world but my breakfast was barely lukewarm, toast was a bit stale....

I am a weekly visitor and just love the home made soups, never had one I didn't love, the service is outstanding and the food is delicious. Great location with a vintage feel. Great for breakfast and lunch. Always friendly, always fresh.
This was my first visit after hearing lots of good things about the food and service. I went for lunch and was surprised at the decor and size of the restaurant. Quite big and in a '50's type decor.
Service was prompt and friendly. The place was full and noisy as a chicken coop at feeding time. I had the tuna sandwich special with fries. It was OK although for some strange reason there was a...

I have stopped in here for breakfast twice and once for lunch. I was not disappointed at all! Breakfasts are big and tasty. I had an omelette on my second visit and it was perfect. For lunch I had the Monte Cristo which was terrific. I will be going back. It has a very cool 50's style dinner décor and... more
The décor is flashback 50's diner, the portions are above average, cooked to order. Can get busy over the weekday lunch hour, but worth the wait. Daily specials are great, but everything on the menu is outstanding.
Shared lunch with my family & of us in total. Food was excellent and abundant. The bill was a very pleasant surprise. Service was great and with a smile. Boy those waitresses really hustled and appeared to be enjoying themselves too.
We just we found this place. It was sort of hard to find since it is located in the back of the building. But we were seated right away, greeted warmly and my husband didn't mind the look of the servers! The food was good and was ready very quickly. The bill was reasonable and I would definitely go back!
Great breakfast good especially for price. Staff are kind and very polite making the service very good.
I said no to the 'best meals ever had' question ONLY because that is not why I go, or what I expect. The food is truly delicious, simply presented, and filling. The 50's type features such as the milkshakes are to die for, or at least to reminisce about the so-called 'good old days' for. But the main selling point... more
The rest of my family had been raving about Ann Marie's but I had not been yet. We had a get-together there yesterday and boy were they right. It is a really cute little diner. The food was fantastic - everyone loved their meals and the service was so so good, friendly, warm and efficient. The milkshakes are to die... more
My friends and family have eaten here since it opened and none of us was ever disappointed in the least . i see large family,s there with little children and many grandparents over and over again

We very much enjoyed our recent visit to Ann Maries Diner. We have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The portions are generous and very tasty. I cant think of any way in which it could have been improved. The service was prompt and very friendly and the prices were good. We also enjoyed the ambiance and... more
The bmt skillet was soooo good. There was just the right amount of the yummy hollandaise sauce, and the bacon and hash browns were crispy. The yolk was just the right kind of runny, and all the onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes were seasoned perfectly. Probably the best breakfast I've had in a long time. Everything tasted really fresh. Service was prompt and the waitress was smiley and friendly.... more
Friendly service, gross food, greasy eggs, wanted to charge me extra for a substitution of a slice of tomato instead of toast.
Horrible atmosphere and unhealthy food, as witnessed by the amount of overweight people eating there. I would rather go hungry than eat here again.
Great diner cafe, with the ambience of the past......food has the real homemade taste and the portions are generous. We like the breakfast menu! Service is excellent and the staff pleasant and friendly.......love the Abbotsford memorabilia on the walls.
Solid diner fare, great service. My top pick for down-home breaky in Abby.
Cafe style, super clean, great big portions and really good food. Saw people ordering proper old fashioned milkshakes, actual burgers and not those sawdust-y, skinny things you get elsewhere.. delicious breakfasts! Great, friendly service and good prices. Fun to look at the memorabilia!
The atmosphere of Ann Maries is unique to Abbotsford/Clearbrook. Ask about the pics they have on the walls.
However, the food is another story. No imagination here. It's very bland, dressings taste very bottled, and it's very overpriced for what you get. The "home made" soup was probably made by hand...just not by someone who knows how to construct a...

Ok, so got off to a pretty disastrous start here. Went on a Sunday as lunch was starting, and they were insanely busy-but very friendly and attentive. 50 style diner, with great meals. Lunch specials and sandwichs always please. Can get extremely busy over the lunch hour and it's sometimes hard to hear over other customers. If you come for the food, you won't be disappointed.
Great little sleeper. I always passed it and forgot about it until a few weeks ago, when we went in for hang over breakfast.
Service was a bit slow but very very friendly. Food was good. Exactly what I was looking for. Standard breakfast, nothing fancy, but a solid meal. Priced well. Cute decor.
* Torn *
I'm torn.
Like: The 50's diner styling and feel.
Dislike: It feels like a copy of a 50's diner done much more recently which could be in a theme park, if you know what I mean.
Like: Very friendly service from most of the staff that seems to like their job and knows a lot of regulars.
Dislike: One waitress that just didn't fit in terms of service attitude. She seemed to be having a...

Although the diner decor may not suit some the food is well prepared and served with a smile. With a varied menu and ample portions each meal is made to order. I've visited Ann Marie's a couple of times in the past few months. Out of all the places to eat Breakfast in Abbotsford, Ann Marie's is tops. Friendly service, good food and a fun 50's dinner feel. Recomended
This is the ultimate old time diner. I grew up in Mission ans Abbotsford ans Anne Marie's transports you back to the old 'Dog and Suds' era. Fantastic atmosphere delicious meals friendly staff. Go try it out for yourself.
I had just some basic fries and gravy. The people I was with had a sandwich and fries. Everything was pretty good.
I just hate the lighting. Hate it! It's like being in a Walmart. The flourescent lights playing off the white and black floor and the light walls made me feel like I was I was eating under a...

We looked on Urbanspoon for a good breakfast spot in Abbotsford, since we were not familiar with the local cuisine. This was rated very high and we have always had good results on the choice based on Urbanspoon. Well we hit our first negative. Anne Marie's was a bust. The decor was ok with a classic car/retro 50's diner, but... more
Stopped by for eggs benni, huge pieces of ham on toasted english muffin, choice of fried potatoes or hash browns, excellently cooked (and I am fussy about my "soft" poached).
Service was good, fast and polite
I will go back
We were in the area and checked yelp for a place to eat. It was hard to find, nestled in the back of the building the entrance was through an alley. It was good to know the parking lot wasn't empty, which meant people knew to come here since it's not visible off the main street.
My husband ordered the eggs benedict- It's probably one of the best he's had. And I had a burger with mushrooms also...

Food was ok. Eggs benny not good. Skillet ok, but not great.
Discovered this cafe today and already told others about it! Friendly and funny staff. Delicious food and a good bang for your buck. Definitely beats Ihop and Denny's for breakfast prices and you get more to your portion.
We will be back for sure and will highly recommend!
The owner is cranky most of the time and the problem is.... she is there most of the time. She dismisses people when they walk in like we're bothering her.
Nothing special but nothing wrong about that. Great people work here and the food is fresh.
Great place to go and feel at home! My friend and I will go and get poutine and onion rings everytime to share. So good! I've had the veggie sandwich as well and it's very good! Never had to wait to be sat so far and the food is always quick! It's my go-to choice for whenever I take my... more
This is an excellent 50s diner. Burgers, fries and milkshakes are standard fair. They make an excellent Philly steak sandwich. Milkshakes are made with real ice cream.
Love the decor, old-fashioned 50's diner. Tasty food, especially for breakfast. Friendly staff. Recommended!
I moved here 2 years ago from Ontario and have been literally to every eatery in Abbotsford some only once, nuf said there . They're doing all day breakfast again for a limited time!
I go here for lunch all the time. Love it!! Big Bob's fish and chips is the best EVER!! Greeted by name. Great value. Love the workers. Best dinner I have ever been to. If you try it you will say the same.
A great diner in Abbotsford. Breakfast was very good. Kids loved burgers, chicken strips and fries. Worth stopping for.
A great little place with good food and wonderful staff. Always make me smile!
Keep up the great work!
Driving by and all we saw was a full parking lot, which was odd early on a Sunday morning when all the streets were empty... After finding the entrance behind the Letter Lock...we were glad we found this little place...

There is nothing bad I can say about this cafe. This place is a real gem, great decor spot on 50s theme. Wide range of food choices and the prices are awesome. Highly recommend the strawberry milkshake and the chicken fingers. Great place for families, has a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Best breakfast anywhere and that cute waitress, Ashley
is the BOMB!!!!
If you want a great breakfast thats fresh and nice portions there is no better, this is no greasy spoon.
Could have more decorations and larger menu but their peanut chocolate milkshakes are amazing
Great service and good food. Dessert selection was lacking though.
We are a casual relaxed family diner. We have a 50 style decor with the delicious comfort foods to go with it. Come in relax and enjoy yourself with music from the past and a homemade old fashioned milkshake. It wont be long and you will feel right at home.
