Super Friendly Waitress

Went out to breakfast at Angel's today. The breakfast is typical, nothing fancy, but reasonable pricing. Our waitress was really friendly, thankfully, because I'm not a morning person! Will be back!

Dry out food

The burgers are dry, and taste blah. When I sent back I got told that they have to be cooked md well by law. Myself being a chef by school know these laws all to well. Don't argue with the customer if you don't know what your talking about.

My friend and I decided to try this diner for a mid day Saturday breakfast. The breakfast special was OK but not outstanding. We went in for breakfast on the weekend. It was totally packed in there. Waited at the door for a few minutes to get a table. The 4 of us had The Original breakfast. We waited 20-25 minutes for the food to arrive. I know it was busy but that long for a place that is known for breakfast? The server did apologize about the wait. I am into history, and I like the 50s feel.
However, I notice lack of cleanliness in the restaurant which has put me off a bit.
The menu is average; I think they should update it!
I go occasionally, the ribs are pretty good.
Im not sure if I trust what goes on in the back, in the kitchen, though.

Good Diner Style Food

This is a good place for diner style food. It isn't gormet food but it doesn't pretend to be. My meal was hot. My perch was well cooked with a nice batter. Our server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back to try something else. All in all it wa reasonable value for the money.

Hate their Meats

I do not like the taste of the meat they use - I actually hate it. I do eat at Angel's once in awhile but I only order grilled cheese and fries. Also, I don't understand why we have to sit at tables and chairs when there are empty booths which are much more comfortable.

Great chocolate shake

The group of five guys went for breakfast at 8:30 am. Very few folks there on a weekday morning. Service was fine, and the food was basic. The multigrain bread was a nice alternative. The home fries came from a bag, the bacon was greasy. It was "OK."

Great greasy spoon. Sometimes slow to get served. Sat/Sun are very busy and crowded. Lots of free flowing coffee but not very good. Fab homemade breads and desserts

Things have gone downhill since the last year

We have gone back numerous times over the last year. Each visit was a little less enjoyable. The service that used to be good has become mediocre. The food....well it's hit and miss every time. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. We have decided not to go back again.

I had a great experience at Angel's Diner. The food portions are incredibly large so be prepared to take some home. You really do get value for your money. The staff is prompt and very friendly. Your food comes quick and hot.

Consistently good breakfast

Whenever we have guests we like to take them out for breakfast and we have found that Angels is the best place to go. The food is good and the service is good although sometimes when busy there is a short wait for the food to be brought to the table. Good value for sure.

Good place to eat

Quirky decor with leather banquet benches sometimes with duct tape on the seats, brings you back to the restaurants of yesteryear! Love the art on the walls and the food is typical diner fare!

Best diner in the area

They have quick service even when its packed and never compromise the taste of the food. Also they have the best omlette, Feta cheese, tomota and spinach :)
