My husband and I have travelled to Salt Spring a few times over the years but this is the first time we have stayed @ Anchor Point. This place did not disappoint...the one bedroom suite is gorgeous with a view of the harbour and the sail club....and the breakfast (with fresh fruit, muffins, scones)...delicious! The wonderful hosts Lynn and Ralph... more
My wife and I have stayed at the Anchor Point B&B a number of times over the years and it has taken me this long to finally write a review. We live in the Vancouver B.C. area and while it is not very far from Vancouver to Salt Spring “as the crow flies” it is like entering another world when... more
Lynn and Ralph have worked a lot of different styles in their B and B over the last 15 years. Now they offer the Terrace Suite at Anchor Point. It is like walking into a private little part of the world looking over the harbour and the sail club. It feels like miles away from the busy world, but it... more
Walking into Anchor Point is like walking into a private, exclusive world....one with fabulous hosts and a setting that feels like it is miles away from the busy world, while really it is only a short walk into Ganges Village for the shopping, restaurants, galleries and the Saturday Market. The beautifully decorated suite allows for total privacy but your delicious... more
Stayed 3 nights in the Terrace Suite at Anchor Point and were astounded when we walked in. It is a fully-furnished suite of rooms with everything imaginable to make for a wonderful, relaxing holiday - top quality comfortable furnishings, books, magazines, games, DVDs, CDs, BBQ on the deck, right down to a First Aid kit in the bathroom, AND the... more
We spent 3 nights at Anchor Point and they were truly amazing. The accommodation is a self-contained suite, complete with kitchen, dining area and lounge, as well as a very comfortable bedroom and well appointed shower room. And the breakfasts, which appear as if by magic, are delicious. It's just as well we managed to do some walking to work... more
Ralph and Lynn have thought of everything! There are alot of small touches - music playing as you come into the place, tea/coffee when you want, unlimited homemade cookies, books, magazines and dvd's; everything to make your stay comfortable. The barbeque and hot tubs are the best bonus not found in most bed and breakfast - I love Salt Spring... more
Because we had such excellent pre-stay assistance from Ralph it came as no surprise to us that our stay matched all of our expecations.
Most of the good stuff has been said already in other postings(unequalled attention to detail, help when you want it - but only if you want it) great cookies etc etc etc
We visited with our...

My husband booked us into Anchor Point for a surprise weekend getaway in December. Who knew we'd be in the middle of a freak snowstorm while we were there? (for those of you not familiar with this part of Canada, snow is unusual here)
At Anchor Point, Lynne and Ralph have thought about everything. They clearly understand the B&B experience...

We chose Anchor Point B&B on Saltspring island as a base to relax after longhaul flight from Europe to Vancouver and charge up for two months of travelling through BC and the Rockies. It was perfect. We have stayed at many B@B's but have never stayed at one like Anchor Point. Lynn and Ralph thought of every possible detail that a guest would want on a holiday. From the 3 course gourmet breakfasts, to the endless cookie jar, movies, music, hot tub and then the beautifully appointed bedroom that left nothing to be desired. Our room... more
Anchor Point is by far the best B&B I've found anywhere in the world: east coast, west coast, US, Canada, Europe, you name it.
The setting is quiet, lovely, relaxing, and near town. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed.
The common areas are relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable from the soft background music, to the Video/DVD room, to the hot...

Anchor Point B&B is a fabulous place to stay. The house is lovely - both inside and out. The owners have taken great care in making sure your stay is both memorable and special: daily newspapers, a fantastic array of books and movies, sherry and appetizers at 5pm, slippers and terry cloth robes, three course breakfasts - yum! I could... more
My husband and I stayed at the Anchor Pt. B&B for 4 nights in late June.
It is one of the nicest B&B's we have ever stayed in. The innkeepers were
very friendly and unbelievably knowledgeable about everything and everyone
on Salt Spring Island. The accommodations were wonderful and the food was
the best I have ever had at a...

My wife and I spent 5 nights recently at the Anchor Point B & B. We felt entirely welcome, and we were hosted by a very interesting and gracious couple. The food was beyond excellent, the bedroom was spacious and comfortable with lovely ocean inlet views, and we were given attentive but unintrusive service. The nightly rate includes use of... more
We have stayed in a lot of bed and breakfasts over the last few years and Anchor Point is absolutely the best. There are only two rooms, which makes it very warm and intimate. The owners make two floors of their lovely home available, so we feel very comfortable there. From Lynn's gourmet three-course breakfasts and Ralph's morning briefings on... more
