Se trata de una casa victoriana a unos 10min andando de las zonas turísticas de la ciudad. La mujer asiática que nos atendió hablaba poco inglés pero se esforzó en nuestra acogida. Dispone de parquing de pago, que es util ya que toda la zona de alrededor es parquing para los vecinos, donde no se puede aparcar por la noche.

Personnel don't answer e-mail or phone, and have litte command of English. Strong smell from electrical room fresheners which resulted in a bad asthma attack. Rodent poison in closets. Cigarette package in drawer. Temperature control lacking in rooms - too cold in 3rd floor room, too hot in 2nd floor room.

Leuke knusse guesthouse in een mooi oud pand. Vriendelijke eigenaresse. Parkeren voor $10,- in de tuin van naastgelegen pand. Iets van het centrum af maar op 5 minuten lopen ben je bij metrostation en is dus alles bereikbaar.

I didn't realize the hotel is only the 3rd floor, the rest is a residence for elderly/infirm people. A bit of a shock.

A hidden gem

I say hidden by virtue of the fact they didn't appear on many of the searches I made for accommodation. Perhaps they should look to address that.
This place is great though especially considering the low price.
