People who refer to this as Mexican should really find out what Mexican is all about.
I'll give you a hint, its not meat with "taco seasoning" that sits in a warming tray, layered with veggies and cheddar cheese, popped in a microwave to steam then served with a side of tator totts, layered with more cheese and awful salsa.... more

well i liked the old resturant down town but i love the new one by spruceland mall .it's a bit smaller but updated.food was good service was great you can tell it is owner operated.

Went to try out new location....one thing they have going is friendly staff...food was awful...does not even resemble Mexican food. microwaved lettuce is gross..they microwave everything...no taste...u would think at least they would have good salsa...I was wrong ...tried nachos ...my 5 five year old can make better nachos...owners need to take a trip to mexico.. how could they not... more

Good Choice

We had lunch here. The food was served quickly and was good as expected. Hadn't eaten here for several year and decide to try again when we were passing through town. We were not disappointed.

best place for Mexican food

This is the best place in the north for Mexican food and you can get the really Mexican taste and atmosphere.

Get rid of the microwave

Food is mediocre, however it's really disappointing that everything is microwaved. Staff is friendly.

It says 2 for 1 very misleading

Taco Tuesdays says 2 for 1 but actually they charge you for both just for a Lilttle discount, so it is misleading. But I do like the tacos but they could use better spices and beef so it could taste like home made tacos...that would be great.

Quick Lunch

Went here for a quick lunch and was very happy I did so. Maybe not exactly authentic Mexican food but none the less still good. I really like the idea of a special which includes a drink all for one price. I like the decor.

Good lunch option

This is a great alternative to fast food in the same price range. Recommend the chicken soft tacos and enchiladas...oh and the Chichis!!

I really enjoy going here when I come to town. My favorite is the meat burrito. This is definitely a place to go if you are ever in the area.

Not so mexican

Craving mexican food and having heard of this "authentic mexican" food place in town I decided to try it out. Food was heated in microwave, far from authentic flavour my friend an I ate our meal just so It wouldn´t go to waste. Will never go back or recommended to anybody else. Better stay home and make homemade tacos!

If you love tacos then you come to Amigos Tacos. It is fresh, made as you order it and always delicious. Not as cheap as taco time or taco bell but much fresher and better. Usually a big line up at lunch so get there early or a little later like closer to 1:00 pm

Amigo's Taco Shop is a small, independently owned restaurant with a booming lunch business. There are times when there are line-ups out the door, so it can be good to get there a couple of minutes before 12. Service is always really friendly and the food is good and relatively inexpensive. Average food, average prices

Just like the tiltle says, average food, not great, but not bad. Only other Mexican is Prince George is fast food, so thats a bonus here.

The places in prince george that serve mexican food number very few, which is too bad since I love it. This place is so cool inside and they make an awesome veg burrito. I highly recommend for lunchtime.

Arriiibbaa - it's a favorite

I love this place...great atmosphere, wonderfully tacky Mexican - not a chain - that's so refreshing. Lots of choices. Good prices, very good sized servings.
