Ambrosia's renovation continues and now they have their new cashier system open its much better than the chaos they used to have. The aisles are also more spacious and they have some new refrigeration units for the frozen & chilled items. Wonderful place. The selection is incredible. All of their produce is organic. Prices are good. Definitely coming back.

Ambrosia is getting better and better. The security is more low key and prices remain competitive. One of the staff overheard me saying I forgot to use my coupon and offered to redeem it after the fact.

Store is currently undergoing renovations and the new bathrooms are super clean and spacious.

Over the months, I've shopped here regularly and I've tried to ignore the unwelcome feeling I get when I come to shop with my child. As some of the viewers mentioned, their aisles are so cramped! If you want nice, clean and neat store, go to W.F. and N.E instead.

I came to Ambrosia for the first time last week and was really surprised. The service was impeccable and the store was huge. The prices were also much lower than their competitor, Healthy Planet.

I found it a bit difficult to find what I was looking for as it was such a big store but the employees were very friendly and they lead me in the right direction. I will definitely be back.

Lame - I visited Ambrosia to pick up a few typical things you'd expect to find at a health food store. They didn't have a single one of the five. I headed to Healthy Planet instead and found everything on my shopping list. I don't know why I bother with Ambrosia anymore. Their produce is good but very limited.

Compared to Natures Emporium in Vaughan which is closer to me I just wouldn't go back.

They just don't have enough variety for me.

what i like the most about ambrosia is that a lot of the times you get amazing deals on various organic products ranging from shampoo to olive oil. the staff is super friendly and super knowledgeable. parking can be a pain. ambrosia is well stocked in everything. i like shopping at ambrosia, no hipsters in sight!

I love Ambrosia. Great prices. I always stock up on chips, shampoos, soaps, nuts, flour, aragon oil! It can get pretty busy on the weekends. Parking lot is a hazard zone.

Closest health food store in my area. This place has a huge selection of organic products from baking flours to vitamins to hygiene products. Usual products I buy here every month include their lemon Earthpaste toothpaste, brazil nuts, dried fruits and cooking oils. I've been going to ambrosia for years and have been buying most if my produce from there but I have to tell you it is a bit pricy most because it is organic but some of the quantities are small. This is my go to health store! They have a vast selection of all health conscious products AT FAIR PRICES! Definitely the mecca of health stores in Toronto GTA.

The only downside is - it is way tooo busy and out of control on weekends! DO NOT GO during the weekend! It is a hot mess! Super disorganized and crammed with people and staff, enough to make you put your items down and leave. I hope... more

I'm not really a "natural foods" foodie, but I was curious to stop here on my way from a trip to Cayne's (see immediately prior review). It is a nicely laid out store with some very good prices on certain, but not all, items. However, as another reviewer mentioned, the aisles are too narrow.

Ambrosia has the best selection, service and prices I've seen in the GTA. Forget Big Carrot--you'll get everything you need here, without the pretension. The weekly specials are worth watching for on their website. I just got Nuts to you nut butter for 3.33! The bulk section has every difficult ingredient you may find in your recipes.

I shop there when I can't make the trek to the Big Carrot and only after I have shopped at the York Farmer's Market :) and Loblaws Health Food Dept. Ambrosia Natural Foods impressed me so much that I ended up buying some of their healthy snacks.

I haven't been back for roughly half a year (only because I don't live in the area) but so much has changed!

I love that they have more selection of produce. Everything looks fresh. It's more organized too. The selection of products and produce is plenty.

Parking lot is always full these days, but it's a quick turnover, so it's never too much of a hassle.

If your favorite department at the Superstore is Nature Value, then Ambrosia is a must visit! They have pretty much anything I am looking for from basic ingredients like nut butters, earth balance and vegenaise to harder to find stuff like vegan carob chips, various flours (quinoa/chick pea/tapioca) and soy milk powder. It's a fairly large, roomy, well-stocked health food store - I have been coming here for years and years and years. It's out of the way but the bottom line is this:

It is cheaper than all the other places. I've price compared with Noah's, Whole Foods, etc - and Ambrosia's prices are better. Plus, the staff are fantastically knowledgeable which is amazing.

This popular place is like the Supercentre of health food stores. It is not very glamorous inside, but with such a great selection of organic produce, packaged health foods, grains, nuts, refrigerated products etc., who cares!

They also have a huge inventory of vitamins, skin creams, soaps, shampoos, healing remedies, household cleaning solutions, literature and more.
