After a nigh of bar hoping, playing pool and drinking loads of vox populi and Murphy's beer, and a little tequila, we were back at the Hilton hotel wanting some room service, luckily we had Allegro...
The ambiance is relaxed, fun and the waiter even spoke to me and my girl in Spanish-- I suppose butchering the French language was too much for her to take.. so I had the poutine.. and it was oh...

Amazing food- especially pizza and chicken parm- polite servers and great service overall 20/10 recommend !!!
What started out as a 1 star review, ended up as a 5+!
We had an unfortunate situation happen here earlier this evening. We were pretty discouraged by it and headed back to the room and order a pizza...or something.
We settled in to the room for the night when we received a phone call to discuss what had occurred earlier. I was tired, I was hangry but we reluctantly headed back down to give...

Breakfast: Had a couple of breakfasts there and the buffet had a nice variety. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, bread to toast, cold cuts, cheese, oatmeal and fresh fruit... You definitely won't go hungry. It was nominally more than the a la carte, so worth the extra spend. Although, overall the price is why I docked a star. They were busy due to some sort of conference and the buffet... plus
Went for lunch with our small group and the buffet was small but fresh and lovely. Was served an amuse bouche & lovely cup of soup ahead ahead of the lunch selection. Quinoa, cooked and smoked salmon, chicken, Waldorf salad and a quaint salad bar, cooked broccoli...enough selection to satisfy.
With panoramic views this spot was quite a find. Definitely recommend.
Service was sooooo slow! Took our waiter 20 minutes to bring us water and then another 15 after our meal to bring the bill. Food wasn't very good and the bread was really hard to cut and chew. If you're staying in the Hilton I would definetly recommend you leave the hotel and not eat here
This is the restaurant in the Hilton hotel in Quebec City. I ate here one night while in town for work. I had the beet and goat cheese salad to start, which was quite good, and nicely presented but way overpriced at $16.50 for an appetizer. For main I had the fish of the day, it was a white fish with a saffron sauce. Again, very nice presentation but the fish had a muddy taste (not off, but a... plus
This is a nice space to dine! You have sweeping views of Quebec from here through the floor to ceiling windows. I didn't do a good job remembering what I ate, however, it was delicious! (I came for a work event, and they set the menu for us)
We had drinks and an appetizer in the bar. They were out of Cabernet. I was disappointed. The squid was well cooked, tender and flavorful. I wasn't a fan of the Dill and yogurt dipping sauce. Tea, one 8 oz wine and squid was $32.
Ordered breakfast. Sausage undercooked and wheat toast was white bread. Ate 2 bites and asked for check. Waiter could had cared less that obviously there was a problem.
Given the reviews about this place we were expecting the worst! But to our surprise the service was awesome, the food was good and we had a god time. We had the the veal fettuccini and a moist burger. The fettuccini was awesome. The burger was okay. They are no burger priest, but it was okay. For dessert we got the creme brûlée which was great.
One of the worst Hilton restaurant menu offerings I have come across in my travels and as an 8 year diamond member with Hilton that is a lot of stays. You have roughly 3-4 "starter" options and the same for the main course. I've give up hope for this place and have since ventured out to the local establishments in the area, many of which are in walking distance.
Food was not spectacular but definitely made a wonderful Christmas meal. It was much better than what I would expect from a set menu meal and from a hotel restaurant. Decorations were festive. Server was very nice and always wore a smile on his face.
Asked for pork springrolls and got the vegetarian. Main course was pulled pork sandwich with very little pulled pork and a huge pile of chips. Everything tasted well though
Service is unimpressive. Food is nothing special. Coffee is the worse i tasted and they didn't want to replace it. Not worth going there.
Had dinner with my family here on Christmas Eve and we had the Christmas special which everyone loved.
Steak was great, the alcohol and dessert were good but a bit on the pricey side. Wait staff was friendly and cooperative, the wait time was about 30 minutes for the main course which isn't bad for a night like that.
We had the breakfast included in our package at the Hilton. The spread was very nice.
Did not eat any other meal there. Lots of restaurants in Old Quebec.
Nothing special. A little better than the average hotel continental fare, but not by much. There is a selection of cereals, eggs, muffins, etc... It was edible, and the service staff was VERY attentive.
We went down for breakfast at about 8:30 and got right in. As we were leaving, we saw a very long line of people waiting to...

The seafood buffet here is the real deal. Lots of fresh seafood, including Nova Scotia lobsters. They don't scrimp on the good stuff here. Service was friendly, but perhaps a little absent at times. Ambience is a little let down by the slightly-too-bright lights, and 80s fit-out, which resulted in the hotel lobby feel (which it literally was). But you... plus
We ate dinner here while staying in the Hilton Hotel. The server was very nice and helpful; the food was of uneven quality and overpriced--especially for desserts, which weren't at all impressive. My wife had the most expensive burger of her life (she reported it was good but not great), and I had a goat-cheese and pear pizza that was... plus
the price is too expensive for the choice of food served. hope they could add more selections, or lower the price. the staff are excellent. very helpful as we have a toddler with us.
Average food with excellent service. Restaurant not open from 12-2 so don't expect lunch - no other restaurants open just the buffet on the 23rd floor. Average food and overpriced.
WOW! what an amazing view from the top ... this restaurant is located on the 23 floor with an amazing view of the river, the city and surroundings. My husband and I enjoyed a delicious luncheon buffet on May 15th. 2014. We loved the atmosphere and ambiance. The staff paid great attention to detail. We had the privileged to chat... plus
enjoyed the breakfast buffet while staying at Hilton for a couple nights.. must tell you Alegro has the best breakfast buffet and the best croissant next to that I had in Paris...a vast array of items to choose from.. try them and you will not be disappointed
We stayed two nights at the Hilton in Quebec. Our first night we decided to get supper in the hotel simply because it was easier than going somewhere else and we were hungry.
The menu has a pretty good selection, it is a bit pricey for what it is. But I expected that since it was in the Hilton.

Servers were outstanding, helpful and friendly but the food and wine is sooooooo overpriced. Best I can say was the soup and wine was tasty but would go elsewhere whenever possible. Shame on you, Hilton.
We were offered a cold buffet or hot buffet which gave options for a group of travelers. The food was delicious. The service was good.
Loved the variety of foods and warm breakfast choices along with cold meats, cheeses, fruit, etc. enough choice to please the whole family and the servers were excellent, attending to everyone's need pretty much immediately before you even had time to ask. A very filling and tasty way to start a day in quebec city. Wish the rest of the... plus
Believe it..... it is possible!
Having arrived late in the day at the Quebec Hilton, after driving for 11 hours, we did not want to go for dinner away from the hotel....Surprise, Surprise. While the hockey games went on the various screens at the bar, the food service was still as good as it gets....

The staff were very friendly and the service excellent in this restaurant at the Hilton hotel in Quebec City. The food was of good quality, but the price was inflated. Selection of items at the buffet breakfast was limited, for the very high price. Dinner, a la carte, had good selection and the quality of the food was very good.... plus
Good dinner in a hotel. Different nights have different options.
The high light: the servers were fantastik.
The food: I expected more.
One of us had the pizza and it was ok but it was very small for the price charged.
Another had chicken Caesar salad...just ok

We had dinner on new year's eve and was a terrible experience. Terrible food and service. We waited for 2 hours for our main course and it was cold.
Being attached to the Hilton, I would have imagined much better food than what was provided for a $21 buffet. Everything that was provided for the hot buffet was served out of a can. Absolute waste of money.
Pretty decent food ... overpriced as expected in a hotel but of course in a good location. Their breakfast buffet is really good with scrambled eggs and potato squares. Pastries are good quality and they have a decent assortment of fruits.
Food was good but way over priced. $100 for four breakfast buffets is a little more than I think is fair.
This restaurant has an eccletic menu that blends local Quebec food with contemporary dishes, creating it's own signature dishes. The children's menu has lots of choices.
