Stayed here for one evening, it was nice, clean and comfortable.
Hotel is older but is well maintained and looked after. There is no real problems to complain about but an older building that bears the scars of remodels and improvements is hard to hide. The owners and staff are doing a wonderful job but the sad reality is it will probably have to go sooner or later. However its my preference to stay in brand new construction which isn't always all that... more
Stay here whenever I'm in the Soo. Clean, friendly, and convenient with everything you need right at the hotel or a stone's throw away. Great pool area and good food. Starbucks starts your road trip when you leave.
In for one night doing some overnight work and back to the room around 03:00 room was quiet.
Room decour was a bit dated, but nice to be able to open the window. Requested a microwave (suprised I had to ask, should be standard equipment ?) microwave was in the room and much appreciated. In room coffee was excellant.

We stayed here on our way through the Soo. We spent one night in the Ultra Spa suite. It was fantastic! It was the quietest room that I'd ever stayed in. After enjoying the spa tub for an hour, we went for a swim and whirlpool. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Fast check in and check out and we were... more
Always my first choice when I'm in the Sault. Great rooms, rates, restaurant and the pool area is second to none in Northern Ontario. Live music in the Pub is a bonus. I only wish they offered air miles.
I could say many things about my stay at the WTI, one thing I will say is Everytime I go it just gets better every time. One night I was coming out of the pool and I heard a live band playing in their classy bar right by the main entrance. Amazing. When you check in, why not have a... more
After a long day of work, the pool, hot tub was a perfect way to relax. The Pub and restaurant next door made dining very easy. With the available morning breakfast, you won't leave hungry.

We have stayed at this hotel many times with my children. It is always such a great stay. The pool area is incredible, the best you will find...even better then Sudbury. For years now this is the place we have always stayed while visiting the Soo. Kids love the pool and go every chance they get. Also love the ability to use the work out room. Casey's is reasonably priced for breakfast
This hotel was great. Came for a stop off with the family and kids and a small dog. We spent many hours in the pool which was great. Couldn't ask for a better pool in door and out door hot tub and a good quality sauna. The garden was great for a walk. The reason I has to rate lower... more
Our stay at the Water Tower Inn was mostly pleasant. The suite was surprisingly roomy, the food downstairs at Casey's was quite good and it was a very conveniently location with several shopping places nearby. My first stay at the Water Tower Inn was after a family trip across Canada. We pulled in to the brand new facility in the wee hours of the morning after 5 weeks of camping. It was heavenly!!!! My stay for the week was very good, the bed was comfortable, the room was cleaned everyday and having the pools and the restaurant so close made my stay wonderful. The desk and hotel staff were awesome, polite, courteous and very friendly

Great check in... had us on the 4 th floor. We asked for the main floor, no problem! My wife still does not have wheels on her luggage. Dinner at Caseys was fabulous!!! Six dollar apps, were really the regular sized apps but half the price!!!!
I have used this motel many times and all experiences where top of the line motels Will definitely stay there again
Friendly helpful staff and clean rooms. Restaurant food was good. Everything worked well in the spa area.
We stayed because it was close to the hospital and the rate was decent.
Beds were doubles not queen. So unless you are 5 foot the sleep will be bad.
No coffee in room
Shower head really low and cannot be adjusted
Bad mattresses; good maybe for 1 person but two adults just doesn't work.
Tiny toilet
No fan in...

Great hotel! The only issue was the A/C in our room. It was hot outside, and the air conditioner did not work very well. The room was too hot for sleeping. We were in room 222. Great pool and water features, and restaurant!
When I walked into the hotel there were people standing around the front door smoking which did not impress me. The room was fine however there were kids running up and down the hall til 11 pm. The night I arrived the highway was closed due to a washout and the next morning I asked the staff if the highway... more

We stayed here on a weekday and most of the rooms were empty. However, the price was still quite steep considering its location and the time of year.
Enjoyed our stay. Loved the pool. Will come again.o
Friendly staff who are willing to please, a clean room, and a quiet environment met my requirements.
The windows are permitted to open....I enjoyed the cool evening air and the light relaxing breeze which could enter into my room.

Had a great time at the Water Tower, lovely hotel with great service and a beautiful suite including a wood burning fireplace in the room! Great on a cool, May evening. Very comfortable bed, lovely linens. Recommended by friends and well worth the reasonable cost, delightful time!
First time to this area and hotel. I stayed one night with my family travelling through the area with our dog and cat. I choose this hotel as they were pet friendly (thank you!) and I wasn't sure what to expect; however was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The lobby was much more upscale looking then expected. Good place for R&R after a day on the road. The restaurant is pricey though.
My husband and I spent the week before, during and after our wedding at the Water Tower, it was great having staff that knew what you were going through and being so friendly and helpful. We always stay here when in the Soo because it is clean, friendly, reasonably priced and has a great pool. There's a big pool for big folks and a little shallow pool for little folks with a waterfall. We think this is the best place to stay in the Soo.
all the different pools and hot tubs make it perfect for children of all ages
I had the pleasure of staying at the Water Tower Inn for 3 days while on business. The hotel staff were superb in every respect. The food was great, the staff were unfailingly helpful and there was lots to do after hours including a live band. The staff at the front desk were particularly helpful in terms of document production,... more
As a previous resident of Sault Ste. Marie, I am familiar with the WaterTower but have only stayed there once before. I was looking for a spa-like experience after a stressful weekend and it delivered. Warm jets in the outdoor hot tub soothed away my aches and pains. Not all the jets worked however so more maintenance is required on the pool amenities. All in all, it was a brief but welcome... more
We had a wonderful stay last weekend. Celebrated my sister's and brother in law 50th anniversary and was greeted with arm open and a smile. All accommodation were to our asking. Water tower offers a great pub with live jazz band on the weekend and great food. Located on the trans canada hwy with great rates for the night. excellent staff and good tequila. The closest hotel to the airport located 15 minutes away.
Stayed here a few times in the last year, all my experiences have been good except one trip where they had a malfunctioning fire alarm.
The front desk some how didn't seem aware of this.
Otherwise great hotel, Casey's built right in. Lots of pools
This is the second nicest hotel in the Sault (after the Delta Waterfront), with many amenities and some nice character details (outdoor garden, outdoor spa, red brick walls in some rooms). I always choose the Water Tower Inn when I stay over in Sault - no other hotel/inn compares with the attention to detail and the personal touches as well as recognition of the natural resources of the north. I stayed here for 2 nights during a business trip. The room feels a bit dated, but very clean. The prices for their room service (Casey Menu) is very reasonable priced, unlike other hotels. Did not get a chance to visit the spa.

Loved everything about this location with the exception of breakfast....need to work on that. Service was not great to say the least and it was a Sunday morning when many go out for breakfast. Food was not good either. Too bad as all else was great.
I stayed here for a total of 7 weeks on and off for business. Hotel is always spotless, amazing staff and great fitness/pool facilities. Having a Casey's in the hotel is very convenient...and delicious!

Always a good stay here. Standard rooms, quiet and comfortable. Small fridge and Starbucks coffee supplied. Beds are fine and bathrooms bright and newly reno'd. Restaurant and bar on site. Convenient location to airport. Pleasant staff. Would definitely recommend.
Friendly staff, god restaurant. Was disappointed to find how far it is located from main attractions necessitating travel by bus or cab unless you have access to a car. Also shocked to discover that the hotel shuttle is the most expensive option for travel to and from the airport.
This hotel is on the Trans Canada Highway, but right in town, in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario and caters to tourists, travellers, business and sportspeople.

We were at the Algoma's Water Tower and Inn so that we could move our daughter into Sault College, it was close to the college and we would recommend it to others. The pub served excellent food at a resonable price and the hotel was clean, quiet and friendly.
Excellent hotel, superb staff....will certainly stay there again
Very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Pet friendly. Wish we had stayed longer.
Enjoyable and comvienent. Great location with everything that you might need is close to the hotel.
Good times. Family was disappointed to leave.
We LOVED the pool/sauna/hot tub experience, it was awesome!! We loved that we were able to come with our whole family which included our dog and have a very nice stay. Everything was good. Casey's had great food (would like them to serve brekky longer) it was clean and very refreshing

Well other than dirty linen, smokey hallway on second floor and an uncontrolled hotel full of kids and parents that are too busy being their kids "Friends" instead of parents and it leads you to a real awesome night in an what I heard was a nice hotel.

Amazing hot tubs, pool, sauna. Room was ok, carpet is very old, some hair in the bathroom, otherwise good. Restaurant on site which is handy, food was not bad.
Bed were very comfortable and very clean. It has a Casey restaurent and close to others like Wacky Wings, Tim Horton and Mc Donalds. Staff was very helpful.
We had a trouble-free stay. I like that the hotel has a restaurant attached to it. In saying that, it is our experience to have breakfast included in many of the hotels we have stayed at in the past. This was not offered here.
Very clean room, remodelled bathroom we thought. Only downfall was our bed. Not queen, not even double. I felt squished and my husband fell out of bed the next am. The pool is lovely and to tub. Very impressive pool area and gardens. Enjoyed our stay there and we do wish they'd get bigger beds.
Quiet, very impressive customer service. We were well taken care of, with smiles and courtesy.
Great hotel. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Iwould stay here again in a second.
This was an excellent place to stay. Friendly people, modern, clean and comfortable rooms. I will stay here every time I am in Sault Ste. Marie!
Loved it, had a really great weekend
Was offered a room upgrade this stay. I was able to enjoy the blues band that appears there every Wednesday. Will stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Algoma's Water Tower. Our room was very comfortable, Casey's in house was very convenient too and we also loved the hot tubs too!
This property is way overpriced. I would never suggest staying there to anyone. The best thing about it is the restaurant.
Very nice hotel close to expressway. Auto doors nice for a change when your arms are full
bathroom and room small and less funtional. not match for the price i paid.
My daughter and I stayed here for one night while traveling to winnipeg and the place is very busy with the pub, restaurant and pool. Lots of families and teenagers. The spa and pool area are great. The hotel is really nice and the staff was very helpful and kind.
The air did not work properly and the bed was not comfortable. Overall, okay, as the room was clean and very quiet.
Bathroom door needed persuasion to close and air-conditioner never came back on--- a shame.
We loved the Club Cabana Spa experience. We also took advantage of eating at Caseys which is attached to the hotel. Our room was clean but was small and the air conditioner was not up to our standard. We heard a lot of noise from the guests above us but the stay there itself was pretty good. Next time I might ask for a bigger room.
This was our second stay at the Water Tower Inn, and we'll be back. The front desk and service staff were excellent.
