Stopped by last week at night. I ordered a chicken shish taouk plate to go. When I got home I had a major disappointment, half of the chicken I got was raw. Needless to say I didn't touch it with a ten foot pole. I ate the salad which was just OK. I will go back soon to let them... plus
The Al Taib on Guy st. has great pizza slices. Service is so bad though. If you are not middle eastern, they look at you and just say''What do want?'' But at least you are on your way with a great pizza slice.
A terrible restaurant with a extremely poor quality of food. Our rice was only half cooked. The kebabs were cold and dry... The service was also very poor. I will never go back again
We were just looking for a place to sit down for lunch after walking around all morning and stumbled on this lovely shwarma/Lebanese place. The guys are incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even giving us free tastes, including a fantastic okra and tomato dish that was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The portions are huge-consider sharing a platter. The salad bar... plus
Good service, good food... centrally located. .. what more can one ask for?
Also, having starbucks next to it does not hurt either. We stayed at hotel DuFort, walking distance.
The food is awesome. Meat grilled to perfection. Chicken is pretty regular stuff, but the beef is where it's at. The service is much slower at night, maybe the boss aint around, Very reasonable price for the amount of food.
From the moment you walk in, the guys greet you and make you feel welcome.
This place specializes in Lebanese plates and grilled meats. You can order just a regular pita to a full plate. There are plenty of choices.
You will notice as well that their pitas are bigger since they use the larger sized ones. The portions are...

My son visits Al-Taib on a daily basis for lunch. He's an BFA student at Concordia University and never has tired of the food there.
"""Good Zaatar, and other dressed pita's. The quality of toppings are commodity, and although fresh, the kitchen and prep area is rarely clean. This place exists to serve a purpose, cheap eats for a large student population."""
Excellent little pizzeria open 24/7. Several varieties and other fare available in a buffet style. Fresh and affordable. Mostly catering to the university crowd, good for a quick slice on the go.
This is a cheap place to eat, usually for students. Don't recommend at all!!
Al Taib offers these services: restaurant, golden square mile, middle eastern, fast food, pizza.
