We went here for my birthday supper. The atmosphere was perfect...cozy with no hustle and bustle of a busy chain restaurant. We started with the grilled calamari...perfection! The seafood risotto was also incredible. I have food allergies and the staff was able to meet my needs without making me feel like I was an inconvenience. I am looking forward to coming here again.

Special Occasions

Al Casale is restaurant that my wife and I go to on special occassions. An old house with comfortable decor it's always a pleasure to dine there. Jorges and his staff always provide great service and the food is excellent! My wife and I both recommend Al Casale Ristorante to friends.

Don't know what all these negative reviews are about. Had my birthday dinner there on Friday evening. Food and service was excellent. Prices are totally reasonable. Can't wait to go again!

Went downhill since new owner took over

This is a restaurant which used to have excellent food and service. Since the original owner left everything has gone downhill starting with the food. Had a great dinner last night at Al Casale. The food and the service were excellent. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is the bread was stale. But I will definitely go back - rare to find a restaurant of this quality in Newmarket.

Al casale's serves very well made dishes. I wouldnt reccomend going on day like valetines though (they cook few options in large quantities.) however i have never been dissapointed here. Wonderful pastas, great apps and a very reasonable price.
