Staff unprofessionaly dressed sharing private problems with customers. I had to go back twice to the desk to receive proper info: Room number, wi-fi pass. Room was smelly, had minimal number of pillows, no shampoo in the bathroom.
I've stayed at this hotel probably 6 times now and I honestly can't even justify booking here for the low price anymore. We usually just book here because it is so close to the airport and we're really only sleeping for 6 hours if we're lucky and the use of a shower. It is an absolute disgusting place to stay.... more
Always stay here when I'm passing through Winnipeg, and it always delivers. Interesting clientele, officious reception because I don't appreciate authorising the 100 dollar damage deposit, spacious room, good bed/bedding, beer off-sale for an evening beverage, and everything works in the bathroom. Tried the swimming pool this time; enjoyed the hot tub, however, the +41C temperature makes for a... more
I would not recommend this place to anyone. The outside looks so much better than inside. Smelly carpets. Musky odor. Ants and hair in beds. Did not supply enough towels for everyone in our room. Screen was torn on the window. Not everyone room had air conditioning. Noisy hallways. The hotel needs a total makeover
i am a 39 week pregnant woman who came here with my boyfriend to deliver our unborn child and this was one of the hotels offered by the medical association. The lobby seemed nice when we walked in and the lady who checked us in seemed very friendly. When i walked into the room the smell was like stale smoke... more
Stay there for 2 nights, Only because it was cheap and had a pool. What a mistake that was. Parties non-stop, People fighting. Rude service. Gross food ! again! My kids wanted to go somewhere where they had a pool, so i thought why not try that place. I paid for 2 nights, The first night i heard people yelling... more
horrible experience i do not recommend anybody to stay here. After it took us 20 min to check in (the person working did not seem interested in attending to us) we checked in (and signed the waver that we would not make noise after 10pm)i got the first floor and the smell made me sick and it was noisy ,There... more
We stayed here August 31-Sept 1st 2012. No sleep due to people having drinking parties above us, across from us and beside us. 8 Police officers there at 5:30 am to break up a fight and attempted rape. The rooms were in poor shape.
It was late when we checked in and we came in the back door to which they have the cold beer store. Reeked of stale beer and cigarette smoke. Continued through to the front desk got checked in and made our way to the room. The hall smells like stale urine, cigarette smoke and beer. Got to our room and... more
We walked into this hotel lobby to the strong smell of second hand cigarette smoke and loud music coming from the strip club in the hotel. We had booked online and decided not to stay here. It took them about twent-five minutes to check in two patrons ahead of us. We stayed and waited to tell them we would not... more
I came here for the pool and slide..boy what a mistake..i should have read the reviews and always, always ask to be shown one of the rooms before you pay!! I'm embarrassed to say we stayed here..but we were dropped off, it is -42 with wind and just not possible to leave. I really wish you could upload pics on... more
stayed here as a second resort but turned out to be awesome. stayed two nights, first night was eventful. a few drunks in halls and blood found on bed but second night was enjoyful. if you stay here ask for second floor. alot more quiter up top. pool is also very nice
Just because the rates are cheap don't stay here....we had and early flight and we never slept all nite...had an ...it was cold, noisy(you could hear what people were saying in the next room) and drunks everywhere!!!! Above all .... don't leave your vehicle there while you fly....we had ours broken into and no one reported that it had been... more
This place is almost like a drop inn for drunks and druggies... I had three phones calls put through to my room at 2am, 3am and 6am.. they were from drunken men looking for somebody and the desk didn't take any caution to ensure the correct room was called... and the television suddenly decided to turn itself on at 2:12am...... more
Made my reservation by e-mail, but I hesitated when they asked for credit card details in open format. Rooms were basic but clean, dated fixtures and furnishings were functional, however, the bed was well broken-in. Little/no air flow or temperature control, and I do like an A/C to drown out the usual hallway noises. Good restaurant.
I booked this hotel for a one night stay because the rates were reasonable. The room was very cold and nowhere could I find a thermostat to turn up the heat. I called the front desk and the lady told me she would turn on the heat in my room. I went to take a shower and noticed long hairs... more
I wouldn't stay here if they paid me - cold, wet, noisy, smelly, sick.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times and found it to be better than what all the other reviews make it out to be. This was my third trip to the hotel this year and when I stay here which is suring the week, things are quiet. The one time there were kids running down the hallway but... more
We stayed at this hotel after looking at it online and phoning for rates. They were cheap compared to any where else. We arrived around 10 pm and only had a few hours to sleep as we were catching an early flight. Hardly slept, the noise in the hotel from other rooms was unbeliveable. There were rabbits in the room... more
While the rooms aren't anything special, for around $50 they're some of the cheapest in Winnipeg, and decent for the price. The pool area has a waterslide and hottub, and the pool is saltwater rather than chlorinated! The bar does have strippers (I'll leave it up to you whether that's a pro or a con lol). The staff is helpful and friendly as well. My only real complaint would be that the rooms... more
STAFF: Three employees encountered, one very unprofessional lady, a polite man who seemed to be the manager, and a younger fellow who did his job just fine at checkout time. Average people, no work dress code.
SERVICES: No internet, a small pool (did not attend, cleanliness was undesirable) and a restaurant near the lobby. Didn't bother with much of anything,...

Me and my family game to watch a moose game and the city was great. The hotels new waterslide was great and the kids loved it. The food tasted great thanx to our chef which I think his name was kyle. Older hotel but nice
I stayed at this hotel a couple of days ago and found it to be a great hotel. a bit older but with a brand new pool and waterslide the kids loved it and didn't want to leave. the air condiontion was at a perfect tempture but for the price we paid it was well worth it. would definitly return
Scary! Absolutely NOT a family-oriented hotel. We were deceived by a rating in a well-known guide which listed it as "clean and comfortable with some amenities". The pool area was so filthy that we couldn't use it, and we discovered on the first night that the place was a major party place. The screaming and physical fights that took place... more
