cover up yay!
I've had 2 tattoos done at this shop in addition to them fixing one I already had from when I was too yioung to go to a real shop and let my friend stick &poke me. Other ppl told me it wasnt fixable but you can't even see the original tattoo. These guys are very talented at what they do.

I Would Recommend!
I had my neck Tattooed by the fellow here the other day, I apologize for not remembering his name. He did a great job, I am extremely pleased with the outcome. He also took the time to speak with me about my choice for my Tattoo, which made me feel really comfortable. I will be back when my pockets have had a chance to fill.
good selection of jewellery
this is probalby the only place in the city that sells decently priced body jewelery. i didnt even know i was over paying for pretty much all the jewelery i have until i went with my friend to get her tattoo. i didn't know they had jewelery but it was the best find ever! i don't have to pay twice as much just caz i need titanium
Tattoo artist could not do simple shading
Hey there,
I must be who "emma" is talking about, it's Jeanette not Jeanine, and unlike this shop I feel no need to write a fake glowing reviews about myself. I can use my experiences and name.
Emma must be from the shop as no customers were in the shop when I came in to express my dislike of their work.
I just got back from my usual tattoo shop with my skilled artist. Ace of Spades really messed up my shading, in fact they do not know how to shade. I was told by my very skilled artist that there must have been something wrong with the machine and this artist wasn't skilled enough (or just didn't care enough) to fix the machine.
I was dealt with in a very rude way, with absouletly no responsibilty by the tattoo artist or the shop keeper that they were in the wrong.
To blame the customer (who didn't hold the tattoo gun) and to say I am a scammer (because I didn't pay for the additional work) is ludacris. I paid before hand what I was told to pay, of course I paid for the work.
Bottom line, this shop doesn't know what they are doing. I now have to spend a lot more money to fix the tattoo that was ruined and to finish the original tattoo I went in for.
Dear readers, I do not want anyone to go through what I did, no one deserves to be blamed for someone else work when they have to walk out with a poor quality tattoo done by an inexpereinced uncaring artist and then be made fun of and blamed for it,
Don't go to this shop.

Amazing
To Renee: I know you're that girl Jeannine who came in to their shop. I'm a tattoo collecter and I was a body piercer in Atlanta, Georgia for almost 25 years. The entire reason I decided to write this was because I aired my grievances with the staff and they suggested I voice my opinion as well. I'm just as entitled as you are. Nobody was insulting to you except me and as I'm not in the business anymore I am more than allowed. Use as many different names as you'd like, it's pretty obvious it's all coming from the same person. Unfortunately there are many real live supporters who exist.

I have passed by the shop a few times because I live in the neighborhood - it looks nice, clean and new.
But, some of the reviews are great and some are horrifying.
Emma - I think your review is low class. It's clear you're not a customer with that venom and it shows through your words (athough I may be wrong). I think anyone can post with a pseudonym as long as their actual review is real. Any customer being harrased because of their height,weight, age, etc. is just plain wrong and insulting. A bussiness doing that is most deplorable. I can not fault someone for posting anonymously if that is how you are going to speak back to them.
Jacob - Any bussiness who insults you because of your weight or age (anything along those lines, for that matter) should be reported to the better bussiness bureau immediatley. Also, if you witnessed anything that didn't follow health codes speak up on that as well. Kudos to taking the hide road and commenting on the work, not attacking the person.
To all the other reviewers - floyd, alexa etc. I'm glad your experiences were so postitive. I think I will pass getting a tattoo with these mean people and being judged !
First Timer, Really Happy
My daughter has been begging her mother and I to let her get a tattoo since she turned 16. I told her that if she found a talented artist at a clean and reputable shop I would consider it. After taking me to several shops on Queen street someone we asked told us that the artists at Ace of Spades Tattoo were extremely talented and that the shop was spotless. Once we checked it out I was so convinced I decided to get one as well. My daughter and I are extremely happy with our work. Thanks Robyn! I'm sure Courtney will be back!
Horrible Tattoo Shop, Don't GO !
One of the artists ruined one of my already exsisting tattoos. Very little skill and care was taken to do a very simple task on my arm sleeve tattoo. As a result the tattoo was ruined and had to be touched up by the original artit.
Their policy is no refunds, although the right thing would have been to refund my money. It was very stressful to live with this horrdenous poor quality tattoo on my arm. The shop keepers were very rude and would not admit the tattoo I recieved there was low quality.
Please go to another shop do not trust Ace of Spades tattoo with your body.
I <3 my nose ring
I got my nose pierced on Saturday during the $20 piercing day. I had been thinking about getting it done for a while so I decided to go in and talk to the piercer about it. She was really nice and helpful and explained the procedure and the risks and made me feel really comfortable so I decided to go for it. I'm really happy with it and it didn't even hurt that much! I recommend this place to everyone who wants a professional to do their work.
Clean and professional
The shop is amazing, there's a lot of space, it's clean and bright and there's art on the walls. The piercing bed is luxurious as are the tattooing chairs and they have a ton of jewellery available. The tattoo artists and the piercer are professional, they know what they're doing, and they can do pretty much anything you ask for. Check it out, it's a really great place.
Ace of Spades!
They are really friendly and super clean. The shop itself is pretty roomy and quite upscale. The old school flash on the walls are what first caught my eye. I found their artists really helpful and knowledgeable, and they can do pretty much whatever you dream up. Plus they have tons of jewelry.
