Abiata was my first encounter with ethiopian cuisine and, since I enjoy the variety of spicy food with a local bread - it was a good one. Service wasn't top but the possibility to seat outside and enjoy the summer on montreal street view compensated for that.
This place is owned by the same guy who owns Nil Bleu half a block away. The food is the same. In summer this restaurant is overly air-conditioned.
Excellent injera and very good Ethiopian and Eritrean food. I go regularly. Service is proper but not very friendly.
Abiata offers these services: restaurant, african, ethiopian, plateau mont-royal.
