Food quality not nearly as good as it used to be

Also, the staff have never been good at customer service but the last two times we were they they have completely lost the few customer service skills they once possessed in favor of a blatant cash grab. Very good

Although the service is Very Slow the food is very good. Their lunch specials are excellent, you have to get there before noon or you will be waiting in line to get in. Have been there at different times and food is always good. The curry is exceptional.

Best Won Ton Soup

Nobody cared

I loved and I mean loved this restaurant. I was in town for a few days and took my dad so I could enjoy a bowl of soup. We sat, waited, used the restrooms, waited...tried to get someone's attention and left.

Never disappointed

We eat at this restaurant frequently and I thought it was time to recognize how good it is. We have never had a bad meal, this place is always busy and service is always good. I am kind of a PHO junky and this is as good as it gets.

Best Vietnamese in the Park

Sherwood Park is not blessed with many authentic ethnic dining options, so Taste of Vietnam fills this much needed void. As a result, arrive early, especially on a Saturday night, if you expect to get a seat.

Go before 1200 if you don't want to wait at lunchtime! Very good,efficient service plus very good food; nicely spiced! Small restaurant that is run very efficiently with pleasant staff.

They Know Their Pho

Not that Pho can be easily screwed up, but the Pho at A Taste of Vietnam was delicious. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed. As Sherwood Park's only half-decent Vietnamese restaurant I can certainly understand why. I would make a return visit anytime.

Never disappoints

I've regularly eaten here for the past five years, and I've never been disappointed. The service is very fast and the food is great! I usually get takeout because the restaurant is always very busy. I recommend the vermicelli bowls. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes.

Yummy Vietnamese food

Mixed Bowl Heaven

This place gets crowded every day for a reason. It’s that good. Fast and efficient. A great variety and everything is good.

Satisfying Satay

My nephew and I had lunch there and it was very impressive. The chicken satay soup was among the best I had ever had. The pork spring rolls were fresh and crispy and it was served promptly along with a very refreshing avocado smoothy. This is my new favorite "lunchtime" suggestion among my colleagues.

Very good food and service, although the quality of the food has slipped a bit in the last couple of years. Service can be somewhat variable depending on personnel waiting on the tables.

Overall good experience

We went on a Monday night and I was surprised to see as many people there as we did. Food was good, hot and fast. We had a few different dishes, (their menu is extensive) and overall it was good, and we will go back:)

NEVER Fails to Satisfy

I've been going to Taste of Vietnam since it opened in Sherwood Park and I have never been disappointed. The mixed seafood satay soup (21a) is my favourite (it has got the BEST broth EVER), but the coconut curries come a close second. Good food quick

This is a busy place at lunch but they usually get the food out pretty quick. My personal favorite is the lemongrass beef and it is the special on Tuesdays. The hardest thing is getting their attention to get the bill and pay.

oh the Ginger Beef

This restaurant is clean and the service is prompt. Casual attire is fine. We've had the Ginger Beef many times and have never been disappointed...although it could use a tad more ginger. The lemon grass dishes have also been tasty. Usually you can hold a conversation with your companion and don't have to yell above the din.

Love it

Best Vietnamese spring rolls. The chicken breast soup with rice noodles is my favorite. Service always good. The ladies are always friendly no matter how PACKED this place gets. Try the vietnamese coffee for a treat!

Terrible doesn't begin to describe

My girlfriend and I went there today for lunch and were very excited to try their coconut curry scallops, however when we received them it was a much different story... The Taste of Vietnam restaurant appears to be a little "hole in the wall" restaurant when you first walk in, but appearances are definitely deceiving.
