I love their bread. I buy loaves at the Farmer's Market for my mom and dad all the time. The customer service is awesome, prices are fair and the selection is awesome. I sometimes like to eat a loaf while sitting under a tree after my Farmer's Market adventure 'cause rarely does it ever make it home. My favorite is the 3's company cheese....holy s@!t that stuff is amazing.

Delish from my grocer
July 21, 2013

A Bread Affair has been on my wishlist for ages, but I do not seem to be able to get to Langley so until then I'd just like to share that we have been picking up their 'French Kiss', a VERY light rye loaf from Thrifty's in Coquitlam and we enjoy it. It's really nice to go with anything, but we particularly like this one with weekend heavyweight breakfasts. Nice on it's own or topped with butter... more

Best Bread!
January 27, 2012

Bread Affair to me has the best bread in BC. I've had almost every loaf and a few of the desserts and i've loved them all. My favourite is the Oat and Honey loaf. I used to live in Langley and would regularily goto the bakery. Now I live downtown and every time i'm in a grocery store I check to see if they have fresh product. They are priced slightly higher than most brand name breads, but they... more

Best bread in b.c.!!!!
May 16, 2011

Oh my gosh -- I've written a good review about Terra, and I still like their bread, but A Bread Affair is now my #1 choice, far and away! Their 100-Mile Bread, which has hazelnuts and blueberries, is my wife's and my favourite fruit bread, and we've eaten lots of breads that have fruit and nuts. Too bad it's bloody expensive at $7.99, but it's top quality. Their wheat, sourdoughs, country... more

Great Bread!

A Bread Affair is a rare find in Langley. It's not often you find that a place focuses so much care and attention into creating great bread! Local & Organic...try the seed bread, you won't regret it!

I really wanted to like this place, but for the few times I've been in here, I get treated like I'm wasting their time. So poor customer service and I think the prices eg) for a sandwich, are crazy - $8 for a basic ham. I was hungry, but not that hungry. I ordered a small hot chocolate and with a flavor shot was just about $4 and it was definitely not amazing. I want to support less mainstream... more

One of the very few stores that I will go out of my way to patronize. Fantastic bread the only problem is trying to decide which to buy! Also bought some incredible 3-year old cheddar that was heaven with freshly baked miche.

The staff are VERY friendly and personable. Try the Chocolate hazelnut roll if you want a rich chocolatey dessert. Its big though, so be prepared.
