i took my family there for lunch. the burgers were great besides the bun was c@!%!y. having to order fries separately from the burger is a bit iffy. the portion sizes are good. the service was great.
Hands down the best burger in town! Also must say that the waitress named Jazz is awesome! She makes you feel like you are welcome and at home there! Thanks Jazz!
It is always good here and we like to bring everyone if we are intown shopping for the day! Service is fine but not exceptional! Prices are very good!
This establishment is a descendant of the much-loved shack up on the Hart Highway, now but a tasty memory. It is a worthy successor. The specialty is the burger, of course - or, I should say, the burgers as there are about 10 varieties including the five-alarm style spicy burger and a masala one with east Indian flavouring. The fries also are great and they have the best milkshakes in town. To be honest, while tempted by other daily specials of a home-style diner variety, I have never been able to stray from my usual burger, onion rings and milkshake. But folks I have been with have attested to the consistent high quality across all the offerings.
The food is excellent and I love the old diner feel. This is definately a place I recommend. Try the fish and chips and you won't be disappointed.
This is a great place to grab a large burger and shake. There are many different burgers to choose from, and if you can't find one you like they will make it custom to your order. The owners are extra friendly and the meat comes from a local ranch. It can't get much better than that.
Stopped by on a Sat. am because other places were busy and very glad I did! Great breakfast (homemade) wholewheat bagel with egg, bacon. Wow - unbelievable and only $3.99. Very filling. Oh yea, and everyone else loved theirs too...
I brought my kids there while my wife was at work. Since we have a little guy (16 months) it's a bit risky bringing him anywhere where he can't run around. For that reason, quick service is very helpful. Not so went I came here, not only was the service slow, but it was non-existent. Our server watched us go... more
always good food and good service, love the eggs bennie, and love the fact that they have organic food as well
We have spent a lot of time at this restaurant. The food is really good, and the staff is always helpful. We rented the basement to use for a large birthday party and used the main restaurant and candy bar for wedding pictures. We have spoken with the owners lots and they are really nice, honest, hard working, helpful people!... more
I stop in for their milkshakes, which are made with real ice cream. Their meals are big and filling. do they still do the buffalo burgers> Local meat is used.
We arrived here after a long drive from Dawson Creek. With 2 screaming kids we were undoubtly hungry. We saw this burger restaurant and checked it out.
The Milkshakes are handsdown the best in the region. With so many flavours its hard to pick just one.
But when our burgers got to our table that was a diffrent story. I...

A&A always has quality, local and fresh products. No, this place is not fine dining, nor is it as fast as "fast food" but I have never waited longer than 20 minutes for my meal, and never paid more than $20 for lunch or dinner. People saying the food is cheap and made on "save on buns" are just wrong.... more
We first tried A&A 2 weeks ago on a work trip to PG. I had a double bacon cheddar burger that blew my mind. The patties were SO big and juicy, and I loved it to the very last bite! That drove me to head back a week later to have the Baconadian.... and boy did it ever deliver. It... more
I value quality food ..I know A&A won't serve me excel meat plant tainted beef, because they go to the trouble of seeking a local source for my beef ... If the service is slow (and I'm not being a self absorbed a-hole ) they apologize and throw in dessert .. if I have a concern about anything in the... more
I am always feel that I am treated special. They make divine salads and nachos, they seem to get better every time. I feel it is important to support our small business community!
A&A is always my first choice for local PG eats. We have always had a good experience dining there. The staff are friendly and the food is tasty. Not to mention they have the BEST milkshakes in all of PG. Whenever we have guests from out of town we take them to A&A as well. I highly recommend A&A Burger... more
I recently returned from a tour of duty overseas. When I left A&A was one of my favorite places to visit. So naturally upon my return to PG it was one of my first stops.
First off I arrived on a monday. It was closed. Then when I did come in on Wednesday, my waitress had no idea what she...

Love a&a the breakfasts are on the high side pricewise but filling and well cooked to order.
Uber kid friendly the decor offers bright colours and a real family feel.
Sadly they have recently decided to close Monday and Tuesday. Which ruins my Monday morning pick me up. But I guess financial reasons forced them.
It's always half full, at...

We have been coming here for years with our family. Never before have I been so disgusted as what I was yesterday.
We were sitting down to our meal and my daughter thought she saw something brown scurry across the floor. We thought it was probably just a shadow. Then when I got up to go to the washroom I...

The burgers were lame, the buns were straight from Save-on. Was not impressed at all. The food felt like it was all flash frozen and reheated with a microwave.
Went for lunch with a group of colleagues. As we were 14, we decided to per-order so it would be ready for noon. We arrived at noon. Our food arrived between 12:25 and 12:35. Service was generally slow. Waitress was trying but kitchen seemed to be the hold up. Good food. Music was way too loud.
24 of us went to A&A today for breakfast. The service was wonderful in the way that they accommodated a bunch of people who all sort of trickled in over a period of about 1/2 hour - you've all been there with relatives. The food was extraordinary - the kids got to make art - one of them played the... more
I have been coming here for 2 years now. Food has stayed the same, in that its always eatable. Service on the other hand has suffered and died a painful heartwrenching death. We were here yesterday was very busy. So we were expecting a wait that wasnt the issue. Our hostess and waitress were very good that wasnt the issue.... more
I too was recommended here. We ordered our food the hostess who sat us was great. Until we placed our order. We waited and waited and waited. We could see our food sitting under the warming lamps, but it wasnt brought to us. So we waited and waited. Finally after 20 minutes I asked the waitress if we could have... more
I was recommended this place because it offered student discounts. We arrived at this restaurant and it wasn't busy, maybe three tables we're occupied so i thought that service would be quick. The young lady that gave us the menu was very friendly, she took our drinks order and told us our waitress would be with us. We waited about... more
My first time here I walk in the door, first thing you notice is the oldies on the radio this lead me to believe this was going to be a great place to eat. I was excited to sit down and order my food. The hostess sat me with a menu and a drink (Off to a good start). I... more
We came into this restaurant with our friends for the first time. We figured we would give their breakfast a try. That was a HUGE mistake. I ordered eggs bacon and hashbrowns with toast. Simple breakfast to make. It arrived cold, very salty, and the hashbrowns were hardly cooked. I complained to the waitress about this and she appologized and... more
I have been to the restaurant for breakfast and for dinner. CUT BACK ON THE SALT. Its deadly. I told the waitress that I wanted no salt but instead of putting no salt on my hashbrowns they put extra salt. I wasn't being compensated nor was I happy wtih the food. The burgers are good but why spend $12 for... more
I found the one restaurant in town resistant to any criticism—the one which cannot be condemned for its menu or motif. I couldn’t judge A&A on the predominance of burgers. It’s called a burger bar; any elitism I flaunt would be instantly rendered moot the moment I enter. A&A is built from restaurant critic kryptonite (crityptonite?). This is a classic... more
Not a lot else to say. I always take family and company here for breakfast to get a fun old fashioned start to the day but my servers sometimes just seem annoyed.
This family run business bakes their own bread and buns and uses local produce and meat most of the time. Food is delicious: decor is old time 50's/60's style, and staff is wonderul. The owners are nearly always there. Don't forget to peak in the back room for the Britishsweet shop
This Diner is completely COKED out. Coca Cola I mean. With the classic 50 Diner look and a similar menu to most any other diner.
My favourite dish here is the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, just make sure you specify this exact sandwich or you may end up with the Beef Dip. For some reason its happened to me a...

REAL burgers. The best in town. The resteraunt is small but nice and very retro. Only downfall is that it's pricey and there's a bit of a wait (but as you would expect for good food)
NIce clean friendly place, with excellent service. Had a clubhouse, was very good.Couldn't believe they had a candy store. awesome.
My husband and I tried A&A Burger Bar because our son raves about it and he usually has great taste in food. We didn't care for it, to tell the truth.
First time, we had burgers and fries. The french fries were delicious. I thought the meat in the burger was freezer burned but the waitress patiently explained that it...

I always have the Shroom Burger which is a couple of patties covered in mushrooms and gravy. And then tons of the best fries you ever ate. My husband always has the Singe But Delicious Burger. Seated promply, burger came quick. Piping hot day and no AC, had to flag down server for drink refill and bill. Restaurant barely half full.
Dont expect great service when you go here. The food makes up for it, as long as you have the patience to wait for it.
Great burgers, friendly service. It's nice to have a whole wheat bun, onion rings were really good.
We have been here two times and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The food has been very good, with homemade breads, buns, fries, burgers and dips we will keep coming back. The prices are great! I would definitely recommend the Rueben it was fantastic! I here they also have a great breakfast and will be back to try there... more
The food is always great! Amazing flavor, large portions (great value!), well seasoned, and good presentation of food for a burger place. However... there consistently problems with my orders.
