We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely helpful which is always appreciated when you are travelling. The room was comfortable and the facilities were great. It is an older hotel but I would still recommend it. Terrific restaurants close by on the waterfront.

I stay at this hotel three or so times a year. It's in a central location, close to Granville, has a washer/dryer, full kitchen with utensils and cookware, and the views are great. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is ok and close to Granville Island. We found the staff to be very friendly and excellent and they even loaded our luggage on the taxi while we finished our coffee. You can avoid the breakfast though, as it is sugar and carb overload. Overall, a good experience.

Lovely visit!

Location is awesome, 10 min walk to downtown core, but the neighborhood is safe and gorgeous! one block to the waterfront which has a nice bridge/Granville island views as well as little cafes and bistros on the boardwalk. room was clean, comfortable, well stocked suite, and very affordable! Close to Granville Island water taxi. Two bedroom apartment was great for our family of 5, although second bedroom was a double so our young girls slept together. Whether was very hot and no air con would be our only gripe. Staff very friendly.

Stayed for 2 weeks after relocating to Vancouver with my wife and 2 year old. If you are looking for location and price along clean rooms this the place. Location was bang on for anyone who is looking for shopping and dinning experiences. The price was excellent for what you get. Don't expect any frills or extras though. One of the best places I have stayed at in Vancouver so far.

The hotel has great apartment style rooms, some with balconies. Fully equipped kitchen allow for self-made dinners of fresh veggies and fish bought on close-by Granville Island. English Bay and several restaurants and cafes are within short walking distance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could have had a little more variety, but was sufficient.

Nice hotel & staff close to the beach.

I spent five days in a studio room and was very pleased with everything. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very nice and accommodating. The room has a home feel with full kitchen and laundry. I would recommend it to anyone who visit Vancouver.

We had an enjoyable stay with only one criticism. We found that the towels were too thin and not as absorbent as they could have been. This would have enabled us to keep the towels for our stay instead of asking for them to be changed. A great place for a family for a short stay

the hotel is very well situated. staff is extremely friendly and helpful.The rooms are a little small however for a family with two kids in need of the kitchen it's a great place to stay. Reasonably priced hotel

This is a comfortable hotel located close to public transport. You do need to travel to reach tourist attractions but there is a sightseeing trolley stop nearby and also a ferry to Granville Island. Rooms are small but the price is reasonable.

Bright, clean central

Stayed one night while sightseeing, and found the room bright, pleasant and comfortable, in a pretty neighborhood. But the hotel probably lends itself more to a long-stay traveller who will be living there a week or more. Only drawback is the charge for wifi.

The room is very sterile, no paintings or personality. The room was smal but adequate for a business stay, but if you were there for a long personal vaction, I would go for the larger rooms.

Great place for a longer stay

This isnt a regular hotel, its an apartment hotel. It had a washer and dryer, kitchen, separate area for the bed and a little living room. There was also a little atrium like breakfast nook. Even though we didn't use the washer and dryer or really even the kitchen, it was well worth the price compared to other hotels in the area. We would stay here again.

Absolutley loved this place. The rooms were very spacious and they came equipped with so much. I loved the fact that they had a private deck...I almost wanted to move in. The Meridian is a great condo-converted-hotel. It is a hotel without all the fluff like room service and in-house services like salons and masseuses that can come to your room. There's no dry-cleaning offered but if you're looking for a comfortable, affordable, clean place to stay this is it!

This was an apartment not a 4 star hotel. If you where to stay with a family for weeks, it would be OK. The rooms were very small and the hotel had no amenities. The room was noisy-street noise. I would never recommend this hotel to a liesure traveller.

I didn't intend to stay in the penthouse, but since it was available and the price was reasonable for a room with three decks and a great view of Granville Island. The only negatives are small beds and VHS tape in small TV.
