I don't normally write negative reviews but today was my last full day of vacation,my husband asked me what I would like to do and I thought I would like to see 1000 Islands on the Wildcat. He booked a trip for us at 2:30 this afternoon and we drove about an hour and a half to find out that... more
We did the CASTLE PROWLER ADRENISLAND.
The boat is very comfortable, everyone has a great view from all angles.
The speed is good, I believe they put peoples expectations too high.
Yes it can get boring and long coming back, but you cannot have it both ways. The castles are in my opinion about 25 km from Brockville.
The overall...

I wish to say my self and my daughter where on holidays in Brockville in july and on july the 24th I wanted to have her see the st lawerance river so we took a few family members on the wild cat curse at block house island to go over to singer castle when the captain started to come back... more
At a price thats is fair the tour is worth the money no matter what boat you take I've enjoyed them all from the quiet to the speedy to the dinners!!!!!
Went on a beautiful cool day with friends and it's more pleasant on a weekday,as less crowded and free 2 hour parking.
The cruise ride is very relaxing and the captain was very friendly with our 4 year old.
Great for bringing out of town visitors to visit.
Will go again!
Survived the "WildCat" tour what a perfect day to be on the water! Hot sun, cool breezes, but I'd have to give it a 3 out 5 star rating for 2 reasons, the music really sucked way too much heavy rock from the 70's guess they were trying to promote a party atmosphere. But the crew was mostly seniors and... more
The trip leaving from Brockville is OK but there is a lot of open water before the actual castles and things to see, which makes it a long trip for lots of water seeing only.
Just went on the 2 hour cruise with my wife and son (5yrs old). We took this cruise because we figured my son who is a huge adrenaline junkie would love the speed. Wow... were we wrong!! The boat never reaches speeds of 45mph. They keep it at 35mph at best!! At $60/Adult and $30/Child your better off going with... more
We took the 1000 island cruise from Gananoque. The islands were beautiful, but the cruise itself was very disappointing. If I'd known, we would have taken a private boat. The crowd on the cruise was loud and obnoxious. The boat itself was not very nice,to say the least. For what we paid for a family of 4, it was certainly... more
I have been on several thousand island tours over a number of years and this one was, by far, the lowest quality and most disappointing. We were on the 1.5 hour tour on the General Brock. First clue: a sightseeing boat with windows so dirty you could not really see out of them without moving around to see the vista... more
The thousand Island cruises are an experience one can only get on a boat. Boldt Castle and Singer Castles have such interesting history. The former has been finshed much the way in which the owner intended for his wife who passed away all too soon and left him bereft and the castle just a shell. See it today and imagine... more
Love it, love it, love it!!!! Went out on the two hours cruise, enjoyed it so much. Many islands, lots of birds, interesting cottages, beautiful nature, water clear. The tour is well worth the money.
(I should mention that I worked in Kingston & Ottawa several times, passed this area, but couldn't take the time to holiday)....so in July 2010, being retired & in my quest to see the 'area's of Canada... by way of Via Rail, I arrived in Kingston Ont, rented a car, then travelled east along the St Lawrence Parkway, checking out... more
We was on a 2 hour tour, which was very interesting. The boat was good, and not overcrowded, the captain talked about the area. He talked about the history of some nice building. There were a snack bar on the boat which was ok as well.
It was a nice trip at the beginning of the 1000 islands.
Went out on the one hour cruise, enjoyed it so much that we turned around and went back out for the two hour cruise the same day. Staff and Captain Andy were excellent. Drinks and snacks were available if needed. Had a great time and actually learned some things as well! Look forward to adding a stop here for next... more
It was affordable and well worth the money for a 2 hour cruise. There was a snack bar which was very reasonably priced where you could buy hot dogs, wraps, hamburgers, fries, drinks and ice cream etc. There was also a little souvenir shop where you purchased your cruise tickets.
We took the cruise a few years ago, I believe it was one hour in duration and did not cover much territory. Now, the basic tour is one hour and a half, and what a difference! Many more islands, lots of birds, interesting cottages and other buildings on shore, great commentary, excellent translation (in French), nice boat (not too big):... more
The tour is well worth the money. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. It was very informative, without being noisy. Relaxing and easy going. Please note that the cruise line has their own free parking near the dock - the parking on the city streets/lots are pay&stay.
Did this tour of the 1000 Islands by tour boat when visiting Brockville, Ontario. It is a reasonable charge to take this tour and very family friendly. It gives running comments of the different things that you come across while touring the St. Lawrence River. It is not rushed and very relaxing. One learns about the history of this area... more
Cruise at speeds of up to 45 mph on one- and two-hour sightseeing cruises aboard the WildCat, which include a view of Boldt and Singer Castles. Traditional sightseeing and dinner cruises also available. May through October.
