Good Eats
I went to the Retro Diner on Monday May 5, 2013 with my daughter for Lunch. The food was excellent and the service was quick and fast. I'm going to be a regular customer I give them 5 stars from my experience. I would have to say one of the best places I've been to in Thunder Bay and I've been in most not many impress me like the RETRO DINER

Are they ever open
May 24, 2014Great concept and decor. Location has potential. Menu selection reasonable. Indifferent staff. Hours inconsistent. When are they even open?

Good days, more bad
April 19, 2014I certainly agree with Behhna. The owner, Rose is a very demanding, driven boss. I can understand wanting to strive for excellence. However, her ability to competently guide her staff is less than desirable. This shows in the food and the service, her bad day becomes the same for all around her. Made a BIG Mistake

The food was good; once upon a time.
The business itself lacks integrity as does the food preparation, kitchen clean up and overall atmosphere.
I knew people who worked for this owner. They were all mistreated. It definately makes an impact when you enter an establishment.
I enjoyed things on the menu - then they disappeared. So have I.
