disappointing...
October 24, 2011Wow, this is the home of the most wretched gyro pita I've had in Montreal to date... Meat was so tasteless and DRY, I bit into a few hard chunks that were impossible to chew. Ended up throwing half of it out.

Familiar with the word DONER? (Yes, with a D, please.)A) If so, please skip the following and head straight to the Village Grec.B) No?! Then read on. The doner is actually a mixed meats vertical roast, similar to the arab "shawarma" or the "shish taouk". Village Grec's roast is made from a mix of pork, lamb and beef. Used to be the best
September 11, 2010This place used to rule. Tzatziki was amazing, souvlaki cooked to perfection, quality ingredients, good delivery service. NOT ANYMORE!! I hate to see a place that I grew up eating in turn to such c@!p. Avoid.

Great Greek place!! Delicious food (you must try the doner!) at very affordable prices. Nice, intimate restaurant - and not too noisy. A real treasure to discover! Will definitely go back. P.S. Just found out that they deliver. Simply wonderful!
