Service abysmal

Located at the Marriott Chateau Champlain (where we are staying), we decided to grab dinner before a concert at the Centre Bell, nearby. It was not a busy time - 6 p.m., which was good because we needed every minute to allow for the slow service. We waited for ten minutes for the hostess to seat us. She was at... plus

This Marriott was build in 1965, they do major renovations in the building in the past years but its not like the Sofitel, Westin or the W, but the charge the prime cost like it was a new place, I choose this hotel for the location, its 1 minute walk from the Bell Center. They also have major problems with the elevators, 2 of them were out of services.

Aside from all the other problems with this place, the doormen will stop cabs in middle of the road and have them wait - blocking traffic - for guests to run out into the street. It's dangerous in so many different ways.
