Come for the food, stay for the ice cream
I've been a regular patron of this restaurant for a few years now. I'd have given it a 4th star back in 2008 but I feel like the service and food quality have been slipping over the years.
Try any pasta main and you'll be pleasantly surprised with the exception of their strip beef lasagna, which is probably the worst lasagna I've ever tasted in my life.
They boast a collection of roasted meats: duck a l'orange, rabbit and suckling pig. If you're going to go this route, I'd only recommend the pig as the other fare is too tough to enjoy. You may also want to consider ordering a side because not much is served along with the protein. In an age where more forward-looking restaurants are diminishing the importance of protein on the plate, Robertos is stuck in the stone age.
Having said that, the ambiance is still well worth a visit and Robertos' home made gelato is legendary in the city of Montreal.

En tête à tête ou en groupe, il y a toujours un excellent service et la bouffe !!!! J'ai vais souvent et j'essaie tout et je n'ai jamais été déçu. L'ambience est chaleureuse et le personnel est très jolie et serviable ;o)

Nous sommes allé chez Roberto pour la première fois il y a un an et avons adoré ce restaurant ! MY GOD......... Quel désastre !!!!!!! Existe-t-il un restaurant plus pire que Roberto à Montréal ??? Pour un groupe de 30 personnes, nous avions opter pour la petite salle privée du restaurant. Nous avons été ravis de cette première visite chez Roberto. Ambiance décontractée et chaleureux, service courtois. Les plats étaient délicieux et copieux. Après le repas, nous nous sommes rendus au rez-de-chaussée pour savourer un délicieux gelati. Ca vaut le détour dans Rosemont.
