Great food, warm atmosphere
If you're looking for a place that serves great food in variety, nice waiters and waitresses for a great price, Nickels on St-Hubert and Bélanger is the place to go. My boyfriend and I have been many times before and we keep going back because its that good! Their breakfasts are great, their sizzlers are fantastic (fajitas and thai stir fry), their new mussels are awesome (provençials is a must!) and when in the mood, always go there for their famous smoked meat!

Très bon menu diversifié... Beau coin pour s'arrêter pour un smoke meat!
Des plats pour tout le monde, copieux et tres abordables
Un restaurant style année 60 avec un menu trés diversifié... Les plats sont bons et pas chers, l'ambiance agréable et le service efficace. Mention spéciale pour les moules qui sont délicieuses (les dijonnaises en tout cas sont vraiment extras). Un diner que je ne regrette pas du tout.

brisk, bustling, and boisterous
April 15, 2011I have been here several times. It is a convenient, casual pitstop during shopping. Service is fast and there is a good selection of hearty dishes. On weekends you can also order a late breakfast.Today there were a lot of families there with squealing kids. While the kid’s menu may be popular, the noise just grated on my nerves.

The food was decent (what one would expect from a Nickels restaurant) and the service was amazingly good and friendly. We got there just a few minutes before the closing hour, they let us in and gave us time to order. Then gave us time to eat and really were super nice.
