Good place if not too busy
August 02, 2011If you like portuguese chicken and hot sauce .... this is the place to go. Upon arrival they will serve you bread and olives.My picks from their menu is the chicken, calamari, sardine and liver. The fries are great - you can ask for chips instead. The salad is pretty standard and bland. If you are going with more than 4 people, it can be a bit chaotic and I would encourage you go for the mixed... more

July 13, 2011Not such a good experience!! The waiter kept making mistakes On the orders. The chicken breast was dried out and not very tasty. The special fries soggy with oil and we were charged extra!! In all, very disappointing considering the many positive reviews. Try this place at your own risk!!!

May 11, 2011Few houses down from Schwartz's pilgrimage site, Jano was a pleasant surprise. Tasty grilled fish and seafood, with some olives and good bread, it was the perfect meal after sharing one smoked meat sandwich. Recommended.

You don't go to Jano's for the decor. You go for the FOOD! The lamb chops are delicious and so is the chicken. If you love BBQ you must go! Note: don't forget to ask for their special sauce (spicy)!!
