October 21, 2011Hubby & I decided to try something different & sooo glad we did. Cute little Mexican restaurant, had to wait a bit but it was worth it. Some guacamoli & some sangria & it passed quickly. We had the Fajita & beef with cactus which was superb!!!!!

October 09, 2011I've lived in the West-Island my whole life and actually even lived in Lachine for 3 years, but had never been to El Meson... Can hardly believe that this little gem of a restaurant has been right under my nose all this time!Went on a 1st date there last week (a Wednesday night) and the place was filled with smiling people. Le nom le dit, c'est comme à la maison... à condition que la maison soit mexicaine. On est bien loin des nachos graisseux. Le gaspacho est excellent, le rouget impressionnant. On craque par contre pour la délicieuse soupe aux tortillas et surtout pour l'enchiladas aux tomates vertes, juste assez épicé avec une touche de limette. Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !
