Didn't make me wanna to slap my mama
May 09, 2012The Restaurant Aux Vieux Canons was recommended to us as a good French restaurant and so we felt compelled to visit. The night before we dined at Auberge Louis-Hébert (which is right next door) and so our expectations were rather high. The woman who led us into the restaurant said, "The portions are very very ample!" That should have been the red light we needed, revealing this place isn't... more

Great food, even better service.
April 15, 2007My first visit to Quebec City, first Canadian resturaunt, and did I pick a winner. Escargot, perfect martini with (a DISH of) olives, salmon with bernaise and rice, with a to-die-for crêpe-ice cream dessert with fantastic Canadian maple syrup. Almost had to be wheeled out. Service was perfect, just the right amount of attention, not too fussy.

Cher et pas très bon. Effectivement un bel attrape touristes. Les steaks étaient coriaces et pleins de gras Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !

Excellent , je n'en revenais pas du montant de ma facture 30$ par personne , on na manger comme des ogres très très très bon . Les plats étaient très bien présenter, les produits étaient frais, le personnels attentif. Wow !!! Une vrai perle sur la Grande-Allée . Si vous y allez demander à voir la cave à vins une des plus grosse en amérique du nord. Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !
