Not Recommended

Overall a poor experience unfortunately.

The good:
- Designers were personable and fun.

The poor:
- After spot checking some items on their invoice, they were marked up over 100% (ie double what the real price was).
- Designers refused to tell us WHERE the furniture was coming from. Brand info, contact info, ANY info regarding where things were coming from was withheld. Bizarre. We were told this was irrelevant.
- Designers did not provide many options. Instead really tried to push their perspective, and were very sensitive if we did not agree with their vision.

Tips if you choose Red Crayon:
- Consult a lawyer about your rights as a customer/client/purchaser. Some sort of contract outlining returns/exchanges/information transparency is highly recommended.
- Do your research. Look at a portfolio or a live presentation.
- Do NOT give a deposit before the whole vision is presented.
- Spot check pricing. Not your job, but necessary in this case.
- Find out where your furniture is coming from.
- Ask for clear pictures of items you are ordering.

My husband and I are high end clients, and we felt our best interest was not Red Crayon's best interest.
