cozy brunch spot
I've had brunch here several times and have always been pleased. It is not a fancy spot, but the ambiance is nice and cozy for a lazy Saturday or Sunday brunch. The staff are generally friendly and the only negative is the wait for food can be a bit long at times. My favourites are the spinach and apple salad, and the classic grilled cheese. I definitely recommend trying this little neighbourhood pub if you are looking for a new brunch spot to try in Toronto.

September 10, 2011Not sure about that comment about Rebel House going downhill. The service has been stellar the past few times I've gone, the food --- which is essentially pub food --- is constantly at the top of its calibre, and the ambience is warm & welcoming. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a casual meal
