I've had brunch here several times and have always been pleased. It is not a fancy spot, but the ambiance is nice and cozy for a lazy Saturday or Sunday brunch. The staff are generally friendly and the only negative is the wait for food can be a bit long at times. My favourites are the spinach and apple salad, and the classic grilled cheese. I definitely recommend trying this little neighbourhood pub if you are looking for a new brunch spot to try in Toronto.

Great food and beer selection is the best in Toronto. Beer is taken seriously here so no multinational conglomerate swill here. Unpretentious (very rare in Toronto) and friendly staff.
Relaxed, good food, good pub. A nice place for a low key evening.
Not sure about that comment about Rebel House going downhill. The service has been stellar the past few times I've gone, the food --- which is essentially pub food --- is constantly at the top of its calibre, and the ambience is warm & welcoming. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a casual meal
One of the best backyard patios in the city. You just have to check it out. Their new Rebel ChopHouse out Bloorr West is just as fabulous.
Excellent pub / restaurant with surprisingly good food.
