Have I been away from city-life so long? When we stopped by the "Real Canadian" Superstore, I was a bit in wide-eyed awe at the people. I liked how this huge store was painted with all types of people and cultures. In eastern Washington state, diversity is pretty lacking, so whenever I'm in a milieu of cultures I am happy and reminisce about what it's like to live in a real city.

I do not typically "yelp"about grocery stores, but I'm doing this for others. Now, I grew up in NE Calgary and have literally been going to this particular location since childhood. I still admire it's classic green & yellow style, so it hurts to have to josh it.

Ew. As far as superstores go this one is the worst of the worst. I go here for the prices and the proximity to my home. It's not so horrible that I would never return but it is by far the least clean/organized Superstore in the city. The staff is unfriendly and unwilling to help almost all the time, though there is an Asian lady who works the self-checkout line who is really good, I must say.
