Install rip off

I purchased a Thule box from the north Racks Unlimited. Staff was friendly and informative BUT I was not informed of the "install" price of $20 to put the box on your roof and for them to show you how to secure it to your vehicle (basically how to use it) oh, and it took them all of 5 minutes to do this! I complained via email a few days later as I was so taken back in the store that they were charging me this. In the email they said sorry that is the way it is. I feel that this is basic customer service, telling their customers how to use the products they sell without charge. Do they not want to provide a product and customer service that is above par - I guess not? Thus my reason for this post to encourage the company to examine their customer service. For those of you not familiar with cargo boxes, there are no parts to install - just simply putting it onto your roof, lining it up and then tightening the clamps - I guess for them they call that an install worthy of $20. So what happens if I was a lone person, just bought their product and refused to pay the $20 install - I guess they would watch me fumble putting a 40ish pound box on my roof - wow, what customer service!

as the name suggests....

i rented a bike rack here for my car, for when i was headed up to powderface. i couldn't think of a better store to get such a thing, and they had good pricing.
