Even I live in Coal Harbour, I felt like I absolutely wasted my time coming down to Canada Place on July 30, 2011 for the Illuminares event. There were no festivities other than literally a handful of unsuccessful "attractions" far apart here and there and volunteers in costumes walking about.

This was the first year i have made it out to Illuminaries, and they actually had it indoors and i was blown away. I was told the outdoor one is way better, so i am glad i got the indoor one first. My eyes got caught by some many cool installations, stilt walkers, belly dancer, mixed media, improv, Sambata band, fire breathers.. and on and on.
