If you want a mechanic you can commit to, who is ridiculously knowledgeable and patient and takes the time and effort to talk to you about your concerns, Proficient Auto is the last shop you will ever need. John, the owner, helped my family out of 3 jams, and only the first one was at his shop. The other two times were when our car broke down in Manhattan and Mississauga, and when we called him for advice, he actually *cared* and was *concerned* enough to give my Dad step-by-step instructions... even going so far as to check-up a few hours later to see if the problem was really fixed. We're so grateful that he has treated us as people with stress instead of people with a dollar sign above our heads. This is a mechanic we are sticking with for life. If you go to him once, you'll never trust anyone with your car but him. Thanks John!
