Consumer beware! I took my computer in to Prime Time to find out what was wrong with it, and specifically asked the clerk to call me with a diagnosis and estimate on what it would cost to fix. I opted for the priority service ($100/hr) and he assured me he would look at it right away and call me with the information. Two days later I got a call saying they had installed a new hard drive and operating system. When I went in to get it I found that they had installed a hard drive that was 4 times bigger and more expensive than the one I had, and a different OS than the one i'd been running (thereby deleting all my installed programs) - all without consulting me. When I asked the clerk why I had not been notified before hand of the problem as agreed, or even given a choice as to which hard drive and OS I would like to purchase before it was installed, his answer was (and i quote) "we service hundreds of computers here, I don't have time for that". Apparently my choices were to pay the almost $400 tab, or "i'll rip it out and you can have it back the way you brought it in". I proceeded to try and ask him some simple questions about service and warranty and parts, and was immediately interrupted with short, rude replies and an extremely arrogant attitude. I was basically flat-out told 'We don't need or value your business'. This has been an expensive lesson, but one thing is for sure - Prime Time will never get my business again, and I will go out of my way to relay my experience to others so they won't have to find out about this companys questionable way of doing business the hard way, like I did, or be subjected to the surly, dismissive attitude of it's employees.
I can only say that after friends and relatives recommended Primetime I can see why because they really care and they can solve the problems if you ever need something repaired then just go there.
Laptop was not working right...brought it in to them and they determined that it wasn't worth fixing, they provided a replacement laptop and transfered all my data right away. Perfect service!
