Poor Customer Service
I am amazed at the lack of curtesy shown to customers when shopping at Price Mart. I very rarely shope there anymore because of the rudeness of their staff. I was just there a few days ago after I swore to myself I would never go back because of previous experiences but there I was again. I was trying to find a product and had gone up and down aisles and could not find it. I went up to the cashier (Candice the only bright spot in the whole adventure) and asked if she could help mel. She turned to a clerk who was standing behind her checkstand. He motiohed with his hand and said in a most scarastic voice (Down aisle 6 eye level) he made me feel very embarrassed. Later I was looking for another product which I could not find and I got the same treatment from another female clerk. I am amazed at the difference in the curtersy extended to customers when I shop at Safeway. It is like the two polar opposites. At Safeway they are so polite and helpful and cheerful and courteous. Nio wonder i always end up back at Safeway.
Langley BC Price Mart Foods Discrimination? You be the judge!
Today a friend of mine was just shopping at the Langley BC Price Smart Foods on Frasier Highway. In these times of recession, for the first time in her life she has had to turn to social assistance. She had obtained a 10.00 food voucher. Now when she was in the Langley BC Price Smart Foods on Frasier Highway store, when she went up to pay with her 10.00 voucher, and the customer service cashier announced over the loud speaker, "I have a welfare voucher I need someone to endorse it" after the acting Supervisor of the store came to indorse it, the customer service cashier laughed at my friend and telling her that "this would never happen to her" PLUS the day Supervisor when I went in the Langley BC Price Smart Foods to question him about this apparent discrimination told me that he did not hear anything over the load speaker, so he lied to me when asked why it was announced over the loud speaker as he said to me" I didn’t hear a thing on the loud speaker". When he was the one that answered the loud speaker announcement and signed the voucher! Now in all my years have I never seen such a rude display of unprofessional conduct at Langley BC Price Smart Foods.
