Keeping it simple on Commercial Drive. Serving 49th Parallel Coffee at it's finest. Coffee quality lead by 4 time World Barista Championship finalist, Sammy Piccolo

East Side hipsters come for the minimalist aesthetic (white walls, navy chairs, soaring ceilings) and glorious natural light. Free WiFi.
Soaring ceilings. Rustic beams. An Ingo Maurer chandelier. It’s all about the details, and Amy York has created an oasis of minimalist cool at Prado Café. Best "Crema" outside of a coffee shop in Rome I used to hang out at!
Eclectic choice of music on vinyl and interesting people watching!
Local coffee shop worth dropping by!

It's got clean decor, large windows which is great for those gloomy Vancouver days, interesting looking guests, staff ask you how you wAnt your coffee, it's fresh and served with a friendly smile.
If you're on the drive, pop in, but would not go out of my way to come back.
I prefer to order and sit outside to on the grey bench outside where a local comic was interviewed recently by CBC for one of their specials on being single. Awesome coffee, helpful and unpretentious staff and again their lattes are to die for :)
