Unprofessional and Unethical

I just wanted to give a review/ warning about Power Sports Canada Inc on 1 Laser street (613 226 8300 (Owners number - Mr.Norton), 613 224 7899 (Main business number)). Throughout my business and personal dealings, I have never met such an unethical and unprofessional sales team, from the salesperson all the way up to the owner.

So, the story goes... I go in to purchase a motorcycle and am told they have one of these models in a crate in the back and it would be available in about a week (after being built/assembled). I signed the contract on the basis that they had the model in stock (in stock - crated) and that it would be available for pick-up within 9-10 days as stated. I go ahead and sign the papers thinking I just bought a brand new bike. After the day that I should have received a call to confirm information for my insurance, license, etc, I decided to give them a call and they stated that they did not have a bike available in the first place and that they have an order coming in (It would be available in "up to 2 weeks"). They changed the contract terms (written and verbal) and refuse to refund the deposit. They even tried to up-sell me to other more expensive models and used bikes (sounds like a bait and switch to me). They treat you fine UNTIL you sign the contract, then your deposit is their hostage (I suspect that they hold your deposit hostage in the hope that you would cave and accept their new terms rather than fight it). I expected more when I entered their store; I expected to be treated with respect and in an ethical manner (as I would think everyone would). To sum up: STAY AWAY from these people unless you want to get burned. Don't trust anything that they write down on the contract and be sure to not believe anything that they say.

I went to Kanata Honda to purchase this motorcycle and was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism beginning from entering the door to picking up my bike.
