The one and only time I dealt with Paul Meyer was to have my fuel injectors removed and serviced and compression checked. Meyer assured me he was familiar with my engine and had the tools to get the job done. When his mechanic showed up I had to take the injectors out myself with my own tools and he could not check my compression because he didnt have the proper tester. After the mechanic left with my injectors I called Meyer to tell him what happened. He told me my engine was junk, my boat was junk and that he would never come to this marina again. I hung up and drove as quickly as I could to his shop and confronted him. I asked if he cared to repeat what he had just said, I told him I would pay him what he wanted and to give my injectors back. His tune changed very quickly, he told me where he had sent my injectors and said I didnt have to pay him anything. I took the injectors to another shop for servicing and reinstalled them myself.
I have no idea why he treated me this way. To his credit I have not heard anything bad about him from anyone else and I had someone actually get angry with me and accuse me of lying when I told them what had happened. Which was almost as bizarre as the way Meyer treated me, perhaps he was a personal friend. I have nothing against Meyer and have no reason to make this up. I wasnt happy with the way I was treated and would never recommend him to anyone.
I wasnt going to write a review, Meyer can thank his friend for this one for accusing me of being a liar.
