Performance Motors has been in business since 1965, becoming a Mazda dealer in 1975 and going strong ever since. The heart of our business is our Customers. Our goal is to create a relationship with everyone who buys a Mazda from us.
Was shopping around for a Mazda, went to a number of dealerships. Provided a previous quote from another location, asked if they can beat it.
Manager, went on to give me a lecture on how "unethical" it is for me to play one dealership off another. Refused to sell me a Mazda. Threatened to call security, when I tried to explain myself.
Manager's name is Phil Evan's. If you try to play hard-ball with him or his staff, OR you provide a quote they can't beat... be prepared to be dressed down him this gentleman.
Avoid at all cost. Other Ottawa dealers can give you better deals on both sides of the Ontario-Quebec border.
Great costumer service and great price

I've been taking both my Mazda there for years, with few negative issues. They are very friendly to deal with and I don’t get that sleaze feeling from them that I do from other dealership if you know what I mean!
If you are off warranty, than expect a large repair bill. I went there recently and had my Tribute repaired for 1000. 2 weeks later it was back in for another 1500 which when all the parts were in cost 3000. Now if I had been told I needed 4000 of repairs and brought to a salesman for a trade in for a new Mazda I would be driving one today. As it stands, I will never again buy a Mazda.
