I was delighted when a friend suggested lunching at the Chalet. However, we must have chosen a bad day as my entree consisted of a warm duck leg on a cold salad swamped in balsamic vinegar. However, having choked most of that down I ventured to order dessert which turned out to be so bad I sent it back to the kitchen. Whereupon a wrathful chef emerged angrily shouting from the middle of the restaurant much to the amusement of the other patrons. Fortunately this treatment is unusual in Sidney.
