Pellini describes itself as having ‘European’clothes. My experience is a cautionary tale.I Looked at a Twin Set and the owner Isobel described it as being made by a Germany company. When I questioned the made in China on the label she said’the fabric was made in Germany and just made in China for cost purposes’.It was 30% cashmere and 70% wool. After one wearing there was pilling on the forearms and on the midriff.I looked up KeDeWe in Berlin where she said she had found it.No evidence of New Connections – the make on the label.I looked up on the net – it is a Hong Kong company.I talked to the agent Import Boutin in Montreal who said the designer was a German who lived in Hong Kong.At first Isobel offered a full refund of the $460 I had paid then refused.Looking up Chinese cashmere you will see the cautions about buying.Isobel misrepresented what she was selling so as they say.
