I have my relatives in Scarborough, Ontario, so It’s great to try new places to eat with them. Ontario is a hotbed for Indian cuisine having the largest Southeast Asian population in Canada. I always love good Indian food so it wasn’t surprising that one place that topped my list is Pavitra Restaurant.

Amazingly Delicious
January 29, 2013Amazingly delicious food--chicken korma with saffron and karela masaledal (bitter melon with mango powder).. Not greasy at all as compared to other restaurants.. will come back.

A surprise

We were attracted to this place by the online menu and the Groupon that we had. It happens to be located in one of Toronto's neighbourhoods with "social problems" (near Galloway), so we made sure to go during daylight.
It was a Sunday night, and we were there between about 6:00 and 7:00, and there was NOBODY else in there....
