Another great french bakery.

I am a lover of French bakeries after a recent visit to France. I have visited many since being back and patisserie patachou has definitely been added to my favorites list. The desserts are very fresh, i crave the macaroons. A great spot for breakfast or lunch as well, lots of seating.

Reminds me of Paris. C'est BON!

My favourite thing from Patisserie Patachou (besides the cute business name) is the macaroons. My grandmother (memere) use to make the best macaroons and I've finally found her macaroon match! Their croissants are also qiute fresh! C'est DELICIEUX!! Simply delicious!

I want to have more money so I can purchase the stuffed Portobello mushroom from Patachou. It looks so delicious, so overflowing. At eight bucks, it's not an impossible dream, but it is not going to fill me up. Alyssa and I came up to the St. Clair Patachou (there's another one on Yonge St. I hear) for breakfast. But it's 11am already and I'm starving. The stuffed Portobello is big for a... more

I ordered by son’s birthday cake from here and was quoted $80, however when I went to collect it had changed to $110. I was told that the manger had left a message with the price increase….that would have been fine if I actually had voice mail on my phone!!! Beware of the awful service and underhand tactics of the bakery to extort money from innocent loving parents!! I WILL NEVER EVER BUY... more

Not only is this frothy combination of beans (ground-to-perfection) and steamed milk memorable enough to keep you craving this treat all week long, you're also given an option to lap it up in a decadent bowl. Pair it with their "best in the city" butter croissants and you'll be loath to leave gai Paris. [Review originally from OurFaves, Jan 26 2009]

The service at Patachou was courteous and quick. What I also found great about the place was that the tables with the stools had a hook where you can hang either your bag or umbrella. It was very convenient for those of us girls with our big handbags which practically takes up half of our seat leaving us to either sit on the edge of the seat or place the bag on top of our laps. Very good... more

The newly renovated Patachou is very much a neighborhood place. But Patachou’s classic French pastries–chocolate eclairs, baba au rhume, raspberry tarts–have carried its reputation beyond Rosedale’s borders, making it one of the best pastry shops in town. And the staff’s lovely French accents are just the icing on the cake.

A classic neighborhood spot, Patachou draws a regular crowd for its stellar croissants and pastries, washed down with a latte. But in truth, all their baked goods are top notch, from the daintiest tart to the richest, tallest chocolate layer cake. Lunch-time appetites can nosh on a croque-monsieur, a slice of quiche or a fresh salad. Just be sure not to leave without sampling a sweet! ©10Best.com
