Less is more

C'est si bon les petits burgers remplis de bonnes épices. La place est petite, mais au moins on se garde chaud en hiver.

Petit et Excellent

Très bon service, très bonne bouffe mais que quelques places pour manger

Teeny tiny french fry joint with big personality. You can't miss the place: it's smack dab on a busy corner of the Main, painted in screaming primary colours and jam-packed with fat-cat techie-types, local journalists and club kids chowing down elbow-to-elbow at the shoe-box sized counter. Juicy mini-burgers and crisp fries are de rigeur, but the pièce de résistance is the Patatine: a souped-up... more

Je parle un peu francais, but there are enough multi-lingual people in Montreal to help you get by. After spending a few days in Quebec, I started noticing a bit of a trend. Walk into an establishment to a standard Bonjour! greeting. Once you sheepishly return this with a ‘Hello’, the English speaking staff-member swings over... more

I don't visit Montreal often enough to say that this is the best poutine in the city. I'm a poutine purist; I'll take the classic fries, curds, and sauce over your fancy concoctions. So just bear that in mind as I say that I'm ecstatic over their poutine.

I had the standard poutine, which is made with a chicken-based sauce over a generous pile of fresh cheese curds, and underneath that fries... more

I really enjoy this little resto on St. Laurent. It is cozy on a frigid day and offers cute slider tofu burgers for cheap. Their poutine is very good and the price is always right. Try it out!

I dream of Poutine

Montreal is known for many things and one of them is POUTINE!
The fries are very fresh, the cheese is great, and the gravy is to die for... and they top it off with a black olive! Just perfect.
Don't be fooled by the smaller portions compared to another great place (La Banquise), and don't be deterred by the long... more

Everything about this place is tiny. It's small - but cozy - and its meals come in two bite-sizes. Nonetheless, everything here is tasty from the baby burgers to their poutine. Definitely worth a check.

Small cozy place - the staff there are really friendly and has a great attitude. The mini burgers are definitely an attraction and its combo is definitely worth a try. Mini burger, fries and salad: for only $4 or so. It's definitely a nice little joint for a quick bite. The service is friendly and the boys are quite cool. A definite must for a visit! Worth it!

Business Description from the Web

February 26, 2013

This tiny diner on the corner of St-Laurent and Rachel serves immaculately prepared greasy spoon standards. Breakfast, which is served all day long, offers heaping portions of the trademark home fries and a good selection of fruit to balance things out. Lunch and dinner feature huge burgers and sandwiches. The décor is kitschy but not obnoxious, and the vinyl stools at the counter are... more
