Great place to stay; clean, comfortable beds, a cool little bar, a decent free breakfast, and a working gym. The hotel even permits pets and is flexible about its pet policy, within reason. I stay here every time I'm down from Cape Breton, and I'm always happy to check in.

Pros:
- close to downtown
- easy to get to
- good food - breakfast buffet is good
- close to shopping
- pool
- comfy bed which was clean when covers downturned
- quiet - unlike many newer hotels which are noisy
Cons:
- outdated decor (1980s dusty rose/green/blue) with tired, chipped furniture, drywall holes, faded furniture
- whirlpool water looks questionable

Conveniently located in business park
December 15, 2014Overall the hotel was clean & well maintained. The room however was very noisy due to air conditioning unit & no instructions on how to operate it ? Found the bathroom to contain many long hairs.
