Insensitive

I went in last year and had good service and this year the staff changed for the worse. I brought my ex's dog in because I still care for her. The girl at the front desk kept calling me for her check-ups, each time I would try to change the number. That took 4 times to get corrected. When I brought my dog in I was presented with a long list of injections and treatments that totaled about $300 more than the original estimate. My name and number were still on these items so I was not going to sign off on it anyway.

I wanted speak to the Doctor but his plans had changed so I was to leave her there in a kennel. My dog was scared and the girl was handling different animals in the back for a half an hour while I tried to understand the bill. She eventually came out and I asked her why the estimate had changed. Her response was, "Well it's not my fault the doctor called and told me to change it this morning. Here, just take these and sign them!"

Her work became very important to her suddenly and I asked her to pay attention to me but she said she could do two things at once.

Finally, she rang the doctor for me and he couldn't understand why it was a problem to come back when he was ready because me and my ex had already changed our schedules around for that week. We expected her to need 24/7 bedside care and we both want to make her as comfortable as possible.

He decided he didn't like the tone I was using after calling his receptionist useless and we hung up. Now he says he will only talk to the 'owner'. I still pay for her food, treats and oh, again I arranged my schedule to fit his floating schedule only to get major attitude from his 'receptionist'.

The thought of loosing my dog and leaving her in the care of these evil people's hands was too much. I took my dog and left, hopefully to find a caring doctor with some manners and staff that wears scrubs instead street clothes.
