I've never had a good experience at Pancho Villa...I live in the neighbourhood, and during the summer friends and family always suggest their patio for sitting and muching. The prices are high, the service is never quick, and I've had better Mexican food just about everywhere else I've gone! I keep wanting to enjoy it, but I never leave satisfied!

It was a lovely evening this past July that my wife and I stopped here for dinner while on vacation. We sat outside and ate Chili Relleno, rice, black beans, a burrito and an enchalda.

Bad night for us here. A small group of us was celebrating a birthday. It was really nice of them to reserve us the noisiest table right next to the bar and dish station...never mind the constant waiter/waitress traffic. Our waitress and bus boy were good but the one that dropped her tray behind us was not. So how is the food? Average to bland really. If you haven't tried Azteca it's a much... more

This is a good restaurant, but not as authentic as some claims. This might be the best mexican restaurant in Ottawa, but I don't think it will become one of my favorites favorite.
