Great if you like bustling noise
This is not Italian but rather Hollywood style Italian-ish food, right down to the creative names used for the various pizzas and pastas - Last Chicken in Paris, Spaghetti Western, Babette's Feast etc. All of the entrees excel and are large - which is unfortunate because seldom have I room for the cheesecake, a very authentic version of true, heavy-as-a-brick NY City style. I'd give 5 stars but not only can Pagliacci's get very noisy, it's seating is really cramped, not the place for a discreet chat, or even any chat when it gets too loud. Come to eat, not talk.

Victoria's night owls used to come here when Pagliacci's was one of the few places to offer late-night dining. I love so many dishes. Wish I had several more days to visit this place

This is a small restaurant with amazing dishes and even more amazing desserts. Get there at 5:15pm and you will likely get a table immediately. They start taking food orders at 5:30pm.
Every meal that we ordered was equally delicious. I got the Mr Roberts lasagna and my friend got the Sophia. Both were outstanding. The wait staff is friendly...

This small restaurant is not for the quiet encounter first date. It is a restaurant with much character and close table sitting arrangements.
The food was spectacular and the variety on the menu was good enough to not overwhelm you but give you enough options to enjoy. The starter bread was a nice touch especially when we were very hungry...

Tight quarters
August 04, 2014This small restaurant is just a block from the downtown mall. It was recommended by two employees of a mall store. It was so good we ended up going for a late lunch and back the next night for dinner. You'll be sitting very close to those dining around you but is well worth it.

Great food, cheerful lively atmosphere everytime I was there. I now live in Winnipeg, but next time I come out I will definitely drop in. I'm very fussy about my cheesecake, but yours is excellent and that bread is the best!
