Recently renovated, this motor lodge is a good value for its large, clean, and attractive rooms in a convenient location, midway between downtown and the ferry docks. The owners take pride in the place, and it shows. The front desk will arrange local tours and activities.
This property looked great on line but did not even come close. It is old, tired and in need of some serious cleaning. Mildew abounds even in the upgraded room I was given, the first was horribly dirty and smelled bad.

That pretty well sums it up. Imagine some dated furniture that shows signs of wear, that's comfy and welcoming but not 5 star, and you've basically got the Pacific Inn.
