bought a oneil bmx bike online from this dealer and was sent a banged up bike with no instruction manual, warranty info or receipt of payment, for my sons 10th bday. He blamed it on Canada Post and made my son wait two months to see if Canada Post would pay his claim before he sent us a new bike. The second arrived in the same condition as the first. A piece of the brake fell of the first time it was rode then three weeks later an avid BMX rider was demonstrating an endo to my son and when the back wheel came down it completed collapsed because of the poor construction. We contacted the dealer and he said my son was doing "stunts" which they don't recommend (on a BMX?) and we don't have a warranty...on a three week old bike we paid almost $400 for. So bad. Contact me for more info, after looking into this company and product more i have found a lot of very similar complaints. This forum asks you to put a star level to rate your experience, i would have given it a no star but you are forced to click at least one.
I bought an o'niel hunter bmx from outback power products after 3 days the 3 pc crank broke when I purchased it for my son my wife and I were told it had a 2 yr warranty
after the bearing cups collapsed and a bolt broke off the crank arm I contacted them for warranty and was told oh the warranty is only on the frame. not what we were told
when it was purchased.I then spoke to the owner who assured me it was my fault and that I should have inspected it better when I purchased it and openly called me a liar
claiming he never said it had a 2 yr warranty after that I fixed it myself as not to deal with them not that they were prepared to do anything about I was told.
I am now being threatened with a law suit for posting a consumer warning and reviews of their business practices and product online. What happened to customer service
in this country. it is my right to speak my mind about being taken from a company as it is for all Canadians.
