Trendy Barrie Eating
Barrie, in the last few year years, has been trying to lose its image as Hoserville and there are several very good new restaurants in the downtown area and Oscars is one of them. Went in with a large party and everyone came out happy with their meal and service.

July 19, 2014This is a modern style restaurant with a lot of passion placed in their food. Although the meals can be pricy, on average it is worth the visit. It should be noted I have found consistency issues between great visits and average visits.

I went here for the first time with my mother, visiting from Halifax. We just stopped in to sample some oysters, and the well informed server suggested a trio of sorts.
I plan, and look forward to returning for dinner very soon.
